This is an independent female protagonist story. It involves rebirth, spatial abilities, hoarding supplies, post-apocalyptic survival, and occasional team-ups.
Disasters include earthquakes, ...
By the time Chen Qi came to his senses, he had already stabbed Mo Wei more than a dozen times with the dagger Gao Ren had given him when he left, leaving him beyond dead. Before he could even stop moving, a strong force came from the side and pushed him away.
Seeing the horrific scene before him, the newcomer roared, "You bastard, what have you done?"
This man was Mo Wei's henchman. When he ran over, he only saw what looked like Chen Qi's back as he punched someone. When he got closer, he realized something was wrong and quickly pushed the man away. Then he saw Mo Wei lying in a pool of blood, covered in blood and motionless.
Chen Qi was panting heavily, his hands trembling, but his mind was clearer than ever before. Killing one was the same as killing two, and since he couldn't go back anyway, he might as well kill to his heart's content.
Amidst the astonished gazes of his opponent, Chen Qi brandished his dagger and attacked the newcomer once more. After defeating this person, Chen Qi looked up at another figure fleeing above. He took a step to chase after him, but the distance was too far, and he was also somewhat exhausted. Ten minutes later, Chen Qi stopped and gave up.
But soon, the young man who had escaped was bound by another tall figure and reappeared in front of Chen Qi.
Chen Qi sat on the ground, the fierce glint in his eyes still lingering. He glared at the newcomer and asked, "What do you mean? Why are you helping me?"
The bodyguard replied expressionlessly, "I'm not helping you, I'm helping our Captain Gao. He told me to take good care of you and make sure nothing happens to you. If we let him go back now, we'll all die!"
After saying that, the bodyguard threw the man in front of Chen Qi: "Kill him, we'll leave here, and if we can't find him, they won't be able to determine the truth."
Later, the two worked together to clean up the traces on the road and buried the body and bloodstains together. After doing all this, Chen Qi followed the bodyguard back through another side road.
The man used a code to contact Captain Gao. Then Chen Qi met with his mother, Li Zhenzhen, and said goodbye. He then followed the bodyguard for almost half a month before finally meeting the person who was supposed to meet him and joining the boss's team.
In the boss's team, he was assigned to be Shui Qing's partner and obeyed Shui Qing's orders in everything. Under Shui Qing's arrangement, he underwent more than four months of intensive training and was then sent out to do missions, spreading pollution sources.
After reading this information, Li Ke picked out a few places and asked Chen Qi again: "There is no such thing as hostility or goodwill without a reason in this world. I don't believe that you have no idea or understanding of the reasons."
First: Why are they bullying you? Second: Why did Captain Gao help you? Third: Your physical condition is definitely more than just exercise; I want to hear the truth! Fourth: How can you guarantee you won't get infected when you're spreading parasite eggs?
Chen Qi had just taken a few bites of the delicious food when he felt even emptier inside. This caused his attitude toward the person in front of him to change slightly. He looked at Li Ke and wrote: This is a personal matter. Can I not say anything?
Li Ke: "Of course not. You should know that if your private affairs are used by others, it will also affect the overall situation. How do you know whether you have fallen to this point naturally or been pushed by others? You have already said so much, why are you still hiding those things?"
In this world, to be considered human, you have to live, live well, and have power and influence. You don't just want to be a little insect manipulated by others, do you? Don't you want to climb higher?
Hearing these words from the other party, Chen Qi also began to have doubts and waver. At the same time, he felt that what the other party said made a lot of sense. So many things that shouldn't be said had already been said, so let's just let this private matter be said.
So Li Ke learned that those people were targeting Chen Qi because they had heard that Li Zhenzhen and Mo Qing had been lovers. They believed that the arrival of Li Zhenzhen and her son was an attempt to take advantage of the Mo family. Those boys were bored and liked to bully Chen Qi, who was mute, for their own amusement.
As for Captain Gao, there are two reasons. First, he witnessed Li Zhenzhen and Chen Qi committing murder and hiding the body. The person they killed had been harassing Li Zhenzhen and attempting to assault her. Second, Captain Gao had feelings for Li Zhenzhen and was pursuing her.
Chen Qi's physical changes were not just due to exercise. While traveling with his bodyguard, he received an injection, which the bodyguard said was a vaccine that could improve his health.
That injection left him lying on the road for three days, almost thinking he was going to be killed, but he pulled through in the end. His bodyguard praised him for his resilience, but when Chen Qi thought about the suffering he had endured, he wanted to kill someone.
However, his body did become stronger and less prone to fatigue than before. After joining the boss's team, he underwent two months of training and received a second injection, this time voluntarily. He also learned that the syringe contained a miraculous drug that could change a person's physique.
Shui Qing's constitution seemed unable to be injected with the divine medicine, so Chen Qi was responsible for protecting her safety. Before they came out, their clothes were soaked in the medicine, and their bodies also underwent a half-hour medicinal bath.
The people there told them that with these two layers of protection, they would have at least two months of safety, which would be enough for them to complete their mission.
Li Ke ate while looking at the answers Chen Qi had written, his mind also racing with thoughts of them. Interrogating a mute was such a hassle and a frustrating experience.
Li Ke tossed the confession aside, sighed, and said, "All I see in your answers is their exploitation of you. Kid, you're still too naive. You're completely being played by those people."
Chen Qi, influenced by Li Ke, also began to have some doubts. However, as someone involved in the situation, there were still many things he couldn't understand. He wrote down, "Please help me resolve my doubts."
