Chapter 20 Detective Agency

Zhou Heng looked at the photo for a while, then looked at Li Ke. This woman had put on a lot of disguise and was very cautious, but Zhou Heng didn't care. As long as he could make money, he wasn't too curious about anything else.

Zhou Heng turned on his computer, opened a webpage, and then opened a website. He entered the names of the two people in the photo and searched for them.

“Okay, 100,000 for both of us. Travel expenses will be charged separately,” Zhou Heng said after reading the message.

Li Ke typed to him: "The price is 100,000 for both of us. I'll pay a 20,000 deposit first. If I'm not satisfied with the result, I'll only pay another 30,000."

Zhou Heng's brows twitched as he watched. The fact that the other party was only typing without speaking was already quite troublesome for him, and now they were trying to negotiate the price for him like this.

Zhou Heng said coldly, "A package price of 100,000 is acceptable, but at this price, our line of work doesn't guarantee a result."

Li Ke took back the photos, stood up and left. She didn't have much money, and she wasn't the type to waste it. If this place didn't work out, she would look for another.

Zhou Heng watched the woman walk away without a second thought, wiped his face, stood up and chased after her: "I'll do whatever you want. Pay the deposit now and leave me your contact information."

Li Ke curled the corners of his mouth, took out two stacks of money and handed them to the other party. He accepted the receipt and business card from the other party, but did not leave his contact information.

“I’ll contact you if anything comes up.” Li Ke took a picture of the firm’s business license and photos of Zhou Heng and his female colleague, then typed it to him.

Zhou Heng watched Li Ke's actions, took the money, and without a trace of a smile on his face, he escorted Li Ke to the door with a blank expression before decisively leaving.

Li Ke didn't even turn her head. She turned right and flagged down an electric tricycle on the road. She paid ten yuan to have it take her to the entrance of the industrial and trade center.

Once inside the trade fair, Li Ke wandered around and bought several more mobile phones. He also looked at voice changers, signal jammers, camera detectors, and trackers, and bought a few of each.

On the way, I saw other small appliances that I felt I needed and bought some of them. I also bought an electrician's toolbox and a large metal box that can isolate mobile phones and various small appliances that can emit signals. After leaving the industrial and commercial area, my savings decreased by another 40,000.

After deducting the 80,000 yuan that still needs to be paid to the detective agency, Li Ke has a balance of 230,000 yuan left.

After finding a restroom, Li Ke stored all the things she had bought into her spatial storage. When she came out again, she looked completely refreshed.

It was almost noon, and Li Ke still had many things to buy in the afternoon, so she decided to have lunch first and then continue shopping.
