Chapter 26 Reputation

After packing up her things, she went to the market and bought two laying hens, two laying ducks, some vegetables, millet, some vegetable seeds, and two large cages. Once she left the market, she took the opportunity to store them all in her spatial storage.

After taking a taxi back to the vicinity of the Chen family villa, Li Ke found a place to enter her spatial dimension, then changed back into her original clothes. She needed to go back and take stock of her assets before planning how to use them.

Back at the villa, it was just 11:10. There was no one in the living room. Li Ke saw Aunt Chen busy in the kitchen, but she didn't make a sound and went straight upstairs to her room.

After locking the door, placing the wardrobe flat on top, and drawing the curtains, Li Ke entered the space. Li Ke had already tested it; she couldn't hear any noise outside while inside the space.

Li Ke opened the two folded cages, placed a water bowl and a food bowl inside, and put the chickens and ducks with their beaks and feet tied into the two cages respectively. The two flowers remained unchanged, and the two believed that the soil in the space might not support plant growth, but it could be preserved indefinitely.

Despite these thoughts, Li Ke still carefully planted the seeds she had bought in a small plot of land in her spatial storage, always wanting to have more hope.

There are three piles of things in her space now. One pile is what she took from the treasure vault of Qingshan Temple, another pile is all the supermarket supplies and their safe that she took from Zhang Family Supermarket, and the third pile is what she has slowly collected and bought over the years.

The Zhang couple believed in putting all their eggs in one basket; they kept some of their wealth in a safe deposit box and another portion in a bank.

Li Ke knew this, which is why he carried out this looting. As long as they still had funds, they wouldn't risk calling the police.

Of course, Li Ke might have made a mistake in her calculations. The Zhang couple didn't want to suffer in silence and weren't afraid of her threats, so they called the police.

That depends on Li Ke's luck. With her brains, these are the only disguises she can think of and do right now. Moreover, she has the ability to cheat. If she can still be traced back to this, then it's fate that's going to kill her, and she'll accept it.

Right now, Li Ke was rubbing his fists together, his eyes shining, holding a pair of pliers and aiming at the padlocks on the treasure chests. There were a total of seventy-eight chests of various sizes, including fifty-five large chests that could fit a grown man, eleven medium-sized chests that could fit a slender girl, and twelve small chests of different sizes. Buddha was very generous.

Li Ke quickly cut all the locks off the seventy-eight boxes. When Li Ke went with Xiao Yi to collect these things, he only saw five open boxes, which contained gold that the monk had specially found.

He also opened a box of cash, but at the time, people clearly preferred gold, as cash had already depreciated significantly.

Li Ke didn't see any more unboxing videos; she was sent out to look at cars. Li Ke felt that Xiao Yi probably didn't trust her either.

Thinking of this, Li Ke's mind flashed back to that wickedly smiling face, though she couldn't actually describe what that face looked like anymore.

Li Ke shook her head, decisively shaking off the excess emotions.
