Li Ke said directly, "I won't force you. You don't have to say what you can't say, and you can just tell me what you can say. You should be able to understand what these robbers were saying on the road, right?"
Yan Bo nodded and continued to explain: "They didn't say much, but the gist was that we're a good batch of goods and should be able to get some in return. We're currently traveling through the border region, and we're unsure whether this group intends to sell us to another group or into their base."
Li Ke frowned as she listened: "Do you know how many groups they have? This sounds like a very troublesome situation."
Yan Bo: "It's uncertain at the moment, but according to the information we've gathered, although they are an alliance, they are not very united internally. There are various factions involved, and sometimes there is a lot of chaos with each side acting on its own."
Li Ke followed up with, "How many of us infiltrated?"
Yan Bo: "Probably... I can't say, I don't know."
Once Yan Bo came to his senses, he quickly denied it, but Li Ke nodded and said, "It seems that some people have infiltrated."
She didn't ask anything more after that. She had only one goal: to rescue her own people, but it didn't seem easy at the moment.
If there are no hostages in the place where these people were sold, that would be bad.
The vehicle stopped, the doors opened, and someone jumped on, removing their hoods: "We've arrived. Behave yourselves and get off now."
Before them lay a vibrant jungle, a vast expanse of young, mutated jungle. They were being escorted through the middle, with bandits armed with sharp knives clearing the way in front and to the sides.
The mutated plants along the road occasionally made some noise, but they were all well-behaved and did not cause them any trouble.
