Chapter 327 Control

After pulling the signal rope a second time, and waiting for five minutes without any response, the people underwater began to get angry. Just as they were about to make one last contact with the people above, the chain finally moved and began to move upwards.

The foreman made the workers line up to enter the submarine, and then they also rose to the surface.

The person in charge underwater came to the surface and started cursing, but because the giant ship was so big, the people on the first deck who were there to meet him could not hear him.

Although the people below were angry, they still had to climb up the iron chains and attach the hooks to the salvaged net bags so that they could hoist the supplies up.

Everything went relatively smoothly. After they climbed the ladders onto the deck one by one, they were asked to leave the crowd, disarmed, and ordered to put their hands on their heads and squat down.

A group of workers who were collecting goods and pulling people up were in the middle. The first people to climb onto the deck were captured, and the people who came up later could not be found for a while.

After Niu Dazhuang and the group of workers went up to the deck, although it was already bright daylight and the sun had come out, they still felt quite cold.

They worked underground without any assistance, at most given a bottle of oxygen. There was a basement underground where they could rest for half an hour when they got tired, and then come out to look for things again.

The workers' hair and clothes were still wet, and steam was rising from their heads. They were only wearing shorts, and some of them had whip marks on their bodies, but overall, they were all quite strong.

Li Ke also mingled at the back of the crowd with a gun in her hand. She wore a translator's earpiece and listened to the sounds of the people around her. So far, the group of people she had recruited were quite cooperative and obedient.

When Li Ke finally saw Niu Dazhuang standing in the crowd, arms crossed, head swaying, cursing, "Damn it!" he was stunned. How did this kid get here? Judging by his appearance, he hadn't been here for very long.

The workers, chained together, were herded aside. Niu Dazhuang then noticed the captured overseers behind him. His eyes darted around the crowd, but he remained silent for the time being.

When the last two supervisors stood below and asked over the walkie-talkie why no one from the next shift had come down to hand over the work, the people above simply told them to come up first.

Without much thought, the two men came up and became the final prisoners.

The group of people were tied up with their hands behind their backs, gagged, and herded down to the lower deck, where there were plenty of places to imprison people, which would be perfect for them.

Niu Dazhuang and his group were also urged to move down the street. He glanced around the crowd, but before he could take in everyone, he was yelled at not to look around.

There was nothing he could do. Niu Dazhuang had initially suspected that Yan Bo and his group had successfully started the uprising, but when he heard the foreign language spoken by the person yelling at him, his heart sank even further.

Undeterred, he tried humming a revolutionary song again, but he was yelled at and shut up as soon as he started. Niu Dazhuang didn't dare to try again.

Li Ke looked at the group of people she had recruited, tied their feet, and then tied them all back to back before closing the cabin door with peace of mind. As for the laborers like Niu Dazhuang, they were separated and put into another cabin.

Fortunately, Li Ke now had exceptional hearing, and he heard the first ringing of the bell while collecting things in the warehouse.

As she quickened her pace in packing, she listened for any other sounds. Once she finished and heard nothing else, Li Ke took the key she had taken from the crew and ran towards the prisoner's quarters.

He randomly opened one of the rooms, pointed a machine gun at the people inside, and ordered everyone who knew how to receive underwater supplies to come forward.

Although the translation machine might have some issues with the order of the words, some people still understood and stepped forward. Li Ke let them come out, and each of them had a remote-controlled bomb locked around their neck.

Then they were told to go to the next room to change into crew clothes. After the second bell rang for a while, they finally arrived at their destination and successfully opened the chain pull switch.

After locking these people up, Li Ke led the others to the second floor. As soon as they came out of the stairs, they found guards lying on the deck. Li Ke went forward to check and found that more than 10 of the more than 50 guards were dead.

She didn't ask any further questions, but looked at the person she had temporarily appointed as the leader. The person replied, "The others have gone upstairs. Those with status are all up there. We're probably not enough manpower."

Li Ke ordered them to tie these people up, lock them up in a room, and then take control of the most important group of people they knew on the ship.

“Behave yourselves, and I’ll make you the masters. If you have any wicked thoughts, I’ll send you to your deaths with a bomb.” Li Ke played the words that had been recorded in the translator.

The group was dressed in crew uniforms with scarves or cloths around their necks to conceal the bombs, so no one could tell they were carrying bombs around their necks.

The leader was very good at showing loyalty, and immediately responded: "As long as you can let us live like human beings, our lives are yours."

Li Ke waved them off to get things done. After thinking for a moment, she went downstairs anyway. She had originally planned to lock Niu Dazhuang up for a while longer to play a trick on him, but now it seemed she would have to release him to help her.

Li Ke opened the door, said nothing, pointed his gun at Niu Dazhuang, and told him to come out.

Niu Dazhuang followed behind Li Ke and they came to an empty crew cabin. Before Li Ke could ask him anything, Niu Dazhuang raised the chain to try to grab Li Ke's neck, but Li Ke hit him in the waist with the butt of his gun.

The guy's face was contorted with pain, but he still tried to follow Li Ke, who had crouched down, and continue his act of grabbing the rope. Li Ke sidestepped half a step out of his attack range and gave him a glaucoma.
