Chapter 43 Diving Equipment, Vegetable Market

The look in Li Ke's eyes seemed to say: I'm giving you one last chance.

Li Ke looked directly back at him and said, "Just cut it however you like."

The boss's expression became more serious. He cut the gold bars and placed them on his weight scale. The more he cut, the more serious he became. In the end, all the gold bars were cut open and weighed, and they weighed exactly two kilograms.

The shopkeeper packed up the gold bars and asked, "Where should I deliver them to?"

Li Ke gave the address of his warehouse, and the boss looked more relaxed. He said, "It can be delivered before 9:30 tonight."

Li Ke left with the receipt and took a taxi to a diving equipment shop on the middle road that he had researched beforehand. He bought twenty sets of diving equipment, twenty inflatable rubber boats, ten electric ones and ten fuel-powered ones, choosing the best ones. The shop manager also recommended some accessories, which Li Ke thought he would need, and bought some of them. In total, he spent 800,000 yuan.

This time, Li Ke went directly to the warehouse in the diving shop's delivery truck. By then, it was already dark. The diving shop staff delivered the goods, received payment, and left. Li Ke stored the goods in his spatial storage and waited a while before the agricultural machinery shop's delivery truck arrived.

After the goods were unloaded, the people from the farm machinery store had Li Ke sign a receipt and then left.

The seed shop staff arrived last. Li Ke watched them unload the goods while holding the inventory list and checked it. The seeds for vegetables and fruits were not carefully counted later. Even so, it took nearly three hours to finish.

The seed shop owner delivered the goods in person. After unloading, the owner let the delivery truck leave first, and then he and Li Ke checked the gold separately. After confirming that there were no problems, he drove away.

It was already past midnight when Li Ke returned to her place, but the night market was still bustling. Li Ke ordered some more food from the night market stalls before finally getting back to her rented apartment before 3 a.m.

Li Ke looked at the few potted plants she had previously placed in her space, still with their pots and soil, which seemed no different from those planted directly in the space.

Li Ke took out all the flowers and plants and put them on the balcony. She also moved the two sunflowers she had planted before and planted them in one of the flowerpots.

Then, the gold was melted for another two hours. This time, Li Ke chose a mold weighing 100 grams.

She didn't start resting until after 5 p.m., and slept straight until 1 p.m. After getting up and tidying up, Li Ke went to the balcony to check on the flowers and plants. They looked fine and were growing well, not dying at all.

It seems that space can store the activity of plants, but it still cannot allow them to grow. In that case, Li Ke needs to store as much soil and trees as possible before the land is polluted.

In the afternoon, Li Ke went to the market and found a live chicken shop. She asked if they accepted orders to slaughter chickens, ducks, and geese. Li Ke had a total of four or five hundred of them in her online space, and she wanted to have them all disposed of.

Finally, we agreed with the shop owner that the labor cost would be 3,000 yuan, and all poultry meat, including chicken, duck, and goose innards, would be thoroughly cleaned.

Li Ke went out for a while, and when he came back, he drove a truck and hauled a whole truckload of live poultry into the back of the live chicken shop. Li Ke looked at the live chickens in the shop, and they all looked pretty good. There were less than a hundred left, so he bought them all and let them handle them together.

The shop owner simply closed the front store and made a special deal with Li Ke's goods.

Li Ke strolled around the market and saw frozen dumplings, frozen buns, frozen glutinous rice balls, various meatballs, crab sticks, etc. She then made a selection and had the vendors deliver them directly to her truck.

There were also cold dishes, cooked food, fried food stalls, and all kinds of cleaned meat, vegetables, fish, shellfish, and dried goods. Li Ke bought them all in a big spree.

At 8 p.m., the chicken shop processed all the whole chickens, ducks, geese, and their internal organs and blood, and loaded them into Li Ke's already empty car.

Li Ke had just finished his busy day and drove the car to a secluded spot to put it away. He had spent more than two million yuan at the market that day.

After returning to her lodgings and washing up briefly, Li Ke felt a little better after smelling herself and finding that the market smell was completely gone. The mixed smells of the market were something that most people couldn't tolerate for long.

When Li Ke went out again, it was 10 p.m. He took a long-distance bus to the next city, M City. The city was surrounded by deep mountains and dense forests, and there were also many underground rivers, which was a good place for Li Ke to retrieve and store some things.

Zhang Tao and his wife rested in their new home for almost two weeks, and also bought new mobile phones and replaced their SIM cards. When they calmed down and felt that the world was peaceful again, their minds started to wander again.

Aunt Mei still wants to keep her small wholesale supermarket open, as her supermarket generates quite a good income in the neighborhood.

Zhang Tao was also reluctant to lose this source of income for his family, but they didn't want to go back to that home anytime soon.

Moreover, the supermarket needs a lot of money to restock. Although they still have money in their bank accounts, it is their last bit of capital, and neither of them is willing to spend it.

What if you use your own savings and then have it all wiped out?

After much deliberation, the two were still undecided and turned to Zhang Tao's brother-in-law, Chen Niansheng.

Zhang Tao and Aunt Mei discussed borrowing money from Chen Niantao to reopen the supermarket, but the couple didn't plan to live in town for the time being, so they would need to hire someone to watch the store at night.

Aunt Mei then thought of Li Ke, because this girl was obedient, worked quickly, and most importantly, she didn't have to pay for her work.

When Zhang Tao heard Li Ke's name, he thought of her fair and beautiful face and felt a little nostalgic. Come to think of it, it had been almost a month since that little girl had appeared before him.

However, Zhang Tao knew that this was the crucial time for the college entrance examination, and Li Ke should be busy with her studies.
