This is an independent female protagonist story. It involves rebirth, spatial abilities, hoarding supplies, post-apocalyptic survival, and occasional team-ups.
Disasters include earthquakes, ...
Li Ke knew nothing of any of this. She went in and out of the continuous mountains several times, moving soil from three small hills to her space, laying more than 100 acres of lawn, and digging more than 100 acres of tree holes in her space. She dug up all the trees in the mountains that were not very big and could be moved out, and stored them in her space.
Once they reached a point close to the road, Li Ke drove out of the mountains and went to a nearby town to do some shopping.
Seeing that grain and oil shops were still buying thousands of kilograms of rice and flour, and that steamed bun and dumpling shops were also buying entire stores and loading them into trucks, and that brewing and selling wine was also buying hundreds of jars at a time, and that there were also charcoal and coal sellers, Li Ke was moving all the things he needed into his space in large quantities.
When Li Ke came across a small gas station, he would fill up and buy a lot of gas. There were many local products in the mountains, especially fruits and dried fruits. Whenever he came across them, he would buy them all, even if it meant filling up a whole truck.
After leaving the town and entering the mountain road, Li Ke continued to dig soil and move trees.
It wasn't until 27 days later that Li Ke left the mountain again, arrived at a highway, checked her location, and found that she was now far from H City, separated by two and a half provinces.
After driving to the nearest suburb, Li Ke started to flag down cars to return to H City. Li Ke had hardly had a proper rest during this period, and he had to wash up in the mountains. As soon as he opened his eyes, he was digging soil and trees.
Only now, sitting in the car, did she truly relax. The journey back to H City would take nearly two days, and Li Ke could finally get some rest during those two days.
Now that her spatial visibility and reachable areas are greater, Li Ke can now walk to the foot of the mountain in her space to place things.
She tried to absorb a pool of water in the space, but unfortunately, it couldn't be stored. It quickly seeped into the ground and disappeared without a trace.
Li Ke plans to buy some building materials and put them in her space when she has time. She will then dig a small reservoir to see how it goes. If it works, she will then renovate the space and build several large pools.
Li Ke can control the movement, organization, or long-distance relocation of items stored in the space with his mind. However, tasks such as digging holes, planting trees, and filling soil in the space require him to enter and use tools to handle them.
Li Ke had painstakingly saved up time, but nearly half of it was used up during this period due to frequent labor in the space.
Now, sitting in the car, after resting and sleeping enough, Li Ke began to use her mind to organize all the things she had bought in her space. There were already 130 tons of things like rice and flour in her space, and countless other grains, sundries, seasonings, vegetables and fruits.
She also collected a lot of cured meat, pickled vegetables, and fruit trees in the mountains, as well as ten tons of charcoal and fifty tons of coal. She used cash for all of these, and each time she used a different disguise.
The 580 shelves she ordered are now completely full, but they're only used to store cooking oil, various seasonings, condiments, sugar, and salt. The rest of the groceries, snacks, and daily necessities are just lying around on the floor.
For now, Li Ke can only separate them by category and store them separately until new shelves are ordered, at which point they will be reorganized and divided into sections.
In the past few days, the manufacturers have been calling and texting her to tell her that the goods are almost ready and asking when she can receive them.
Li Ke replied to all of them, telling them to wait for her message and that she would notify them after she returned.
Li Ke arrived in H City after 5:30 p.m. On the way, she had already contacted and communicated with Director Guo of the cookware factory. They agreed that all the goods could be delivered to the warehouse that night, where she would wait to receive them.
Li Ke got off the bus in the suburbs, found a secluded spot, changed back into his previously famous disguise, and then hailed another taxi to head to the warehouse.
Upon arriving at the warehouse, she contacted Factory Manager Guo again, telling him that the goods could be delivered immediately and that she was already waiting.
After waiting in the warehouse for an hour, trucks from the cookware factory arrived one after another, with a total of ten trucks in the first trip.
After unloading and checking the delivery slips, the trucks returned to pick up the second batch of goods, repeating this process five times before all the goods were delivered.
Li Ke and Factory Director Guo saw off the delivery vehicle, leaving only one driver sitting in the car outside, waiting for Factory Director Guo.
Li Ke asked Factory Director Guo, "For the remaining 5.88 million yuan in payment, would you like to settle in cash or in gold? I'm fine with either."
Guo Tengfei looked at Boss Chu, intending to ask him why he didn't use bank transfer, but then he thought that since the other party was a customer, he only needed to collect the money.
"Gold, I'll carry it easily." Even if the driver outside was one of his own, Guo Tengfei still felt unsafe carrying a large suitcase full of cash.
Li Ke counted out 12 kilograms and 250 grams of gold for Guo Tengfei, and thoughtfully packed it in a computer bag for him. Although it was full, he couldn't carry it, so Guo Tengfei half-hug it under his arm.
Guo Tengfei handed Li Ke a business card and said, "Boss Chu, we look forward to cooperating with you in the future. You are a valued customer of ours, and we will give you the best discounts."
Li Ke accepted the business card and said to Guo Tengfei, "Of course, but I would appreciate it if Mr. Guo would keep our transaction confidential. It's more fun to make money in secret, isn't it?"
Guo Tengfei smiled slightly: "You're absolutely right. I look forward to our next collaboration."
After seeing Director Guo off, Li Ke returned to the warehouse and quickly collected all the stainless steel pots, pans, and bowls one by one. By the time he had stored them all back in his spatial storage, it was already 11:30 p.m.
