Chapter 46 Worship

After contacting the shelving factory, Li Ke changed into a male disguise and went to the farmers' market in H City. He bought another 500 tons of rice, 500 tons of flour, 5 tons of aquatic products, and 5 tons each of frozen pork, beef, mutton, chicken, duck and goose. All of this came to 38 million.

Li Ke bought another five million yuan worth of frozen instant food products, including meatballs, dumplings, steamed buns, mantou, zongzi, tangyuan... all kinds of instant food.

Li Ke didn't have the market deliver these goods to his warehouse. Instead, he asked the market to vacate a warehouse specifically for the goods he had purchased. After all the goods were delivered, he would complete the inventory and settle the account. After the settlement, he would arrange for a truck to pick up the goods within three days and vacate the warehouse. The people at the market thought this request was easy and agreed.

Li Ke paid a deposit of five million yuan, spent a day in the market, and received and inspected the goods in the warehouse that had been specially set up for her. By evening, more than half of the rice and flour had not yet been delivered. The frozen goods were said to be delivered on the last day. Li Ke took pictures of the warehouse, locked the door, and left.

Then Li Ke returned to the warehouse to inspect the swimming pool, saw off the assembly team, put the assembled pool into his spatial storage, and then called several snack factories, shoe factories, and garment factories he had previously visited, asking them to deliver all the goods he had ordered earlier.

It wasn't until 3 a.m. that Li Ke finished collecting the goods from the warehouse and went back to his rented apartment for a short nap.

The next day, he went to the farmers' market to collect the goods. By 4 p.m., all the goods had been delivered, and Li Ke settled all the accounts in cash.

After seeing off all the deliverymen, Li Ke closed the warehouse door, turned off the power, and after confirming there were no surveillance cameras, stored all the goods in the warehouse into his spatial storage.

Once she leaves and reverts to Chu Ming's identity, no one will know that she bought a large amount of supplies here. Even if people later suspect that she and Chu Ming are in cahoots because of the payment method, she will have already left by then and will no longer use Chu Ming's identity.

Li Ke waited another day, then stored all the assembled swimming pools into his spatial storage, and settled all the bills from the water tower factory.

She called the shelving factory to deliver all her goods, and after a busy morning, all the goods in the warehouse were finally stored in her storage space.

In the afternoon, Li Ke arrived at the cement house's enclosed area, where Sun Yu had received her call and was already waiting.

Li Ke used a sledgehammer to inspect several key load-bearing points of the house. She was very strong now, and with each blow, Sun Gang and Sun Yu next to her felt their livers tremble.

This method of inspection is indeed very rough and effective. The surface was somewhat damaged, but overall it was not bad, and Li Ke felt it was acceptable.

Sun Gang then led his men to repair the surface that Li Ke had damaged, while Sun Yu took Li Ke to see the materials for the reservoir that had been delivered.

“You said you need a lot of cement, sand, and mortar. I’ll procure 5,000 tons of each type for you within three days. In addition, there are various waterproofing materials and 100 sets of masonry tools that you need. They’re all here,” Sun Yu said to Li Ke, pointing to the mountains of cement, mortar, and sand bags outside.

Li Ke walked closer and looked at everything. Sun Yu was there to introduce her and accompany her. Li Ke heard her quote, 17.8 million, which was still quite a bit short of the 30 million she had mentioned.

Sun Yu said this was the most goods she could arrange to be delivered in three days.

Actually, cement and sand don't cost much. The waterproofing materials are a bit more expensive, but not by much. Li Ke's business involves large quantities and doesn't require labor, so the prices are more affordable in all aspects. There's already a lot of stock in front of us.

Li Ke inspected the place and found no problems. He took the key to the main gate and had dinner with Sun Yu and Sun Gang. After dinner, he went to the prefabricated warehouse to inspect the goods. By the time Li Ke saw Sun Yu and Sun Gang off, it was already 8:30 p.m.

After locking the doors, turning off the power, and checking that there were no surveillance cameras, Li Ke put all twelve prefabricated houses into the space, then quickly locked the doors and left, taking a taxi to the vicinity of the cement house.

There was someone guarding the cement house. Li Ke gave the guard 500 yuan as a tip and told him to go back and rest. He would be waiting for the convoy here and wouldn't need to come back to guard it for the next few days.

Once his things were all taken away, Sun Gang would be notified. The man received the money, thanked him happily, and left.

There's just a simple power line here, and a small prefab house for the person on duty. The power switch is outside the prefab house.

Li Ke turned off the power and checked the surroundings again. This place was remote, and apart from the vehicles passing by on the distant road, there were hardly any people around on weekdays.

It was already 10 p.m. After confirming that it was safe, Li Ke began to collect the goods. He first put all seventeen cement houses into his space. Li Ke was sweating profusely and felt very tired.

She rested for five minutes to catch her breath, then started collecting cement, sand, and waterproofing materials. By the time she had collected everything, Li Ke's face was deathly pale, which was quite frightening.

She also felt a sharp, stabbing pain in her head. Li Ke dared not linger there any longer. Enduring the pain, she closed the door, got on her motorcycle, and drove off into the distance. After driving for more than half an hour, Li Ke saw a forest path and turned into it.

He entered a dense forest with no path, then, with his motorcycle, he slipped into the space, lay down on the mattress inside, and fell asleep from exhaustion.

Li Ke slept for quite a long time. When she came out of the space, it was almost five in the morning. So, she slept for almost fifteen hours in the space.

But after this rest, her fatigue vanished. Li Ke rode her motorcycle for a while longer before parking it and transforming into a middle-aged woman pushing a suitcase, waiting for a ride by the roadside.
