Those who were close to Liao Wang would not stand idly by and watch him be beaten to death.

Hu Yanxiang didn't care about anything else. He waved his hand, and several bodyguards from the Qu family came forward and started punching and kicking Liao Wang's brother.

They then snatched the second bottle of "Energy Drops".

Looking at the people wailing on the ground, Hu Yanxiang stepped forward and squatted down next to Liao Wang.

He raised his finger, patted Liao Wang's cheek, and said with great regret:

"Brother, don't blame me. You know, we can't go back to the Xiangcheng base. I have to think about myself."

Several bodyguards from the Qu family stepped forward and began to pull and kick Liao Wang.

Liao Wang was shouting desperately, urging everyone to hurry up and leave. He wasn't specifically telling each individual to leave quickly, but rather that everyone should leave.

City E is not a place for a person to stay.

The workers whose arms and legs had been broken by the bodyguards struggled to their feet and limped away.

The worker holding the [Energy Drop] hadn't gone far when he was stopped by the Qu family's bodyguards.

The bodyguards snatched the [Energy Drop] and beat the workers who were trying to escape.

Hu Yanxiang spat out a mouthful of bloody phlegm.

He said to the large group of survivors,

"I'm telling you right now, if you leave E City, you're all dead. Believe me or not."

"Go ahead and try if you dare. I won't say anything else, but I'm capable of killing you all."

After saying that, he took the two newly acquired bottles of "Energy Water Drops" and showed them off to Qu Shiheng.

Qu Shiheng kept one bottle for himself and gave the other to Chen Hu.

Chen Hu said to Qu Shiheng with a gloomy expression.

"During this time, urge the labor force in City E to quickly put up the city walls, as a large number of zombies will be heading north."

He has already begun to take action.

A few days later, in a hospital ward in Xiangcheng, Hua Mi, who was heavily pregnant, received a call from Guo Se in D City.

The only way to leave Xiangcheng Base now is via the D City direction.

After the Xiangcheng base was surrounded, the situation in D City, which is not far from the Xiangcheng base, is unknown.

Hua Mi answered Guo Se's call, and judging from her tone, Guo Se seemed quite relaxed.

She said to Hua Mi,

“Your Xiangcheng base has attracted zombies from several nearby cities, including D City. Relatively speaking, the pressure on my side is much less.”
