The Glacier Wolf and the Basilisk couldn't get close to Ondo because the flames couldn't penetrate his body. The Glacier Wolf kept spewing out ice, but it was melted by the flames time and time again, while the water and venom spewed out by the Basilisk were quickly evaporated.

The outcome was obvious. Xu Anran joined the fight with a long sword, while the team members below watched their battle.

"She's no match for the captain," Ovley said. "I bet she'll give up in five minutes at most."

“Five minutes is too long. Two minutes will be enough to knock her down,” another person chimed in.

Teacher Shen stood aside without saying a word. He knew that Xu Anran had not used her power. If she had transformed into Ace (Kun), Angduo would not have been her match.

The basilisk's venom was everywhere, but Ondo burned it to ashes with his flames. The Glacier Wolf's fur was scorched in several places, and it was knocked down by Ondo and returned to its original state.

Xu Anran also had several small burns on her body. She took advantage of the gap in Angduo's fight against the glacier wolf to stab into the flames a few times, but it seemed to have no effect.

Just as Angdo was about to pounce on Xu Anran, the others became tense when they saw that Angdo had not reverted to his original form but was about to use the fire on his body to burn Xu Anran.

They looked at Teacher Shen, not understanding why she hadn't called for a stop at this point.

The other knife transformed into the shape of a small black lump of coal—a bomb monster that harms enemies through suicidal explosions.

It was wrapped into Kustu's body and entered Ondo's flame-transformed body. "Bang—" accompanied by an explosion, smoke filled the air.

Kustu was blasted back to his original form, and Ondo also transformed from his flame form back into human form, but he was spitting blood and looked seriously injured.

As he tried to get up and transform again, Xu Anran conjured up a Glacier Beast to surround him, while holding an ice spike pressed against his heart.

As the smoke cleared, what everyone saw was Xu Anran lightly piercing Angdo's heart with an ice pick, where blood was trickling from the corner of his mouth.

The audience was stunned. They all thought Amy (Xu Anran) was bound to lose, but she turned the tables and won.

It was Ondo who got injured.

This was something Ondo hadn't expected. His internal organs were aching, and his whole body felt like it was falling apart.

He looked at the ice spike on his chest and wondered if the plan could be successfully implemented since Amy (Xu Anran) was so capable.

Teacher Shen shouted, "Amy wins!"

"That's it for today's battle. Get Ondo to the medical room right away, and we'll announce the results tomorrow."

After the competition, everyone left the training room. Teacher Shen asked Chu Xingchen to accompany Xu Anran to the infirmary to treat her burns.

On the way, Chu Xingchen glanced at Xu Anran several times. Xu Anran got annoyed by his stares and asked, "If you have something to say, just say it. Don't keep looking at me without saying anything."

Chu Xingchen smiled sheepishly: "It's nothing, I just didn't expect you to win. Angduo is probably the best in our school, but you still beat him and didn't even get hurt. I feel like you're even better than that genius in your family."

Xu Anran became interested: "What kind of ability does Ollie have? Is she that powerful?"

Chu Xingchen nodded: "She's pretty amazing. Her level in her first year of high school was already comparable to the current members of the school team. She's invincible among her peers in the entire Federation. And because of the special nature of her abilities, she's often sent out on missions."

"Her abilities are similar to and opposite to Ondo's. Both of them possess the purest elemental abilities. Ondo can transform into elemental fire, while Ollie can transform into elemental water."

Once they become elements, they become part of nature, and ordinary people simply cannot harm them.

The two talked about Amy's (Xu Anran's) family on the way. Afterwards, Xu Anran applied medicine in the infirmary, while Chu Xingchen went back to the dormitory first.

Just after applying the medicine, Xu Anran's bracelet vibrated, and she received a message from Lista, asking her to meet that evening, saying that he had something to talk to her about.

Xu Anran originally wanted to refuse, but then Lista called via video, crying her eyes out, looking very pitiful, as if she had something important to say.

Having no other choice, Xu Anran had to agree, seeing her expression. The two agreed to meet at Lista's dormitory an hour later.

"Now you think you're so great, you're ignoring me now?"

Xu Anran said helplessly, "No, I've been busy lately. Besides, what do you want?"

Lista chuckled and said, "What do I want? I'm so kind, of course I want to help people."

As soon as he finished speaking, the door opened again, and a pair of shiny black leather shoes stepped into the room. Looking up, the person who had entered was none other than Sean Kex.
