"Amy, my daughter, how are you?" Sean asked with a smile and a calm tone.

Lista bowed to Sean as he entered the room and said politely, "Good evening, Uncle Sean."

“Hi Lista, thank you for your hard work today. Can I have a word with Amy alone?” Sean replied.

Lista smiled and said, "Of course, I'll go up first."

After Lista left the room, only Xu Anran and Sean remained inside.

Xu Anran looked at Sean in front of her and asked, "Why did you arrest me?"

“Why? Of course, it’s because there’s not enough time. If you participate in the league, you won’t be able to get back in time for Oli.” Sean said helplessly. “Oli needs your organs, so Dad has no choice but to make you suffer for Oli’s sake.”

"Oh? What if I don't want to?" Xu Anran asked.

She walked through the quiet basement, which was empty and deserted. She opened the iron door to the basement and walked upstairs step by step, hearing noises coming from the hall. She saw Mrs. Kex, Sean's wife, chatting and laughing with Lista. When they heard the noise, they turned around and saw Xu Anran standing behind them, quietly watching them.

"Ah!" Mrs. Kex exclaimed, her eyes widening in surprise. She looked at Xu Anran in horror and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"If I'm not here, where should I be?" Xu Anran approached them step by step.

Lista frowned and asked, "Where is Uncle Ike?"

"Him? I don't know him." Xu Anran spread her hands, looking innocent.

Lista sensed something was wrong and tried to turn and run away, but was blocked by Xu Anran, who had transformed into Krelu. She walked to the sofa, sat down, and looked at the two wary people, saying, "Leaving so soon? The show hasn't even started yet, don't be in such a hurry."

Xu Anran then conjured a Medo bird, which grabbed Mrs. Ike and stared at her. Mrs. Ike dared not open her eyes, fearing infection. She kept her eyes tightly shut and pleaded through tears, "Please let me go! I don't know anything."

Xu Anran didn't want to listen to her nonsense, so she conjured up four or five more Medusa birds and had them infect the people in the villa. Soon, everyone in the villa was infected and turned into real Medusa birds. Xu Anran then locked all the Medusa birds that the people in the villa had turned into in cages in the basement.

Sean's corpse, also in the basement, became their food.

The only exception was Lista. She was not infected by the Medusa. She used her ability to evade the Medusa's infection, and this ability was not an ordinary ability that was awakened at school.

Instead, it was a cult that gave her the power to awaken. Her eyes glowed red, and she altered Xu Anran's orders, sending Corey to attack Xu Anran.

After uttering those harsh words, he left.
