Mingxiu had already pre-packaged the gifts she was going to give away when she bought them, so she could just send them over tomorrow.

Just then, Yinreng and Lady Guarjia arrived, and they were allowed to take their share of the gifts with them.

After the two finished packing, Yinreng and Kangxi finished their conversation and came out. Yinreng then took the Emperor and Empress Guarjia and left directly.

Mingxiu glanced at Kangxi but didn't ask anything. It was just about his experiences on this trip and the things he brought back.

After seeing the two off, Mingxiu picked up her clothes and prepared to take a bath. Although both of them had their own personal spaces, they were still in the palace, where people served them everywhere. If they didn't have someone call water to bathe, people might think they were unclean and didn't like to bathe, which would create a lot of misunderstandings. So, Mingxiu and Kangxi tried to have someone call water to bathe. If they really didn't want to bathe in the tub, they would call water, have someone leave, and then go into their personal spaces to wash themselves.

When Kangxi saw Mingxiu carrying clothes and preparing to take a bath, he raised an eyebrow and followed her in.

As soon as Mingxiu went inside and turned around, she saw Kangxi following behind her, and gave him a speechless glare.

"What, Your Majesty? Are you preparing to give your concubine a bath together?"

"This is my beloved concubine, can't you tell?" Kangxi raised an eyebrow, walked over, and put his arm around Mingxiu's waist.

Mingxiu raised her chin and looked at Kangxi, giving him a defiant glance. "Your Majesty, I certainly don't mind. I just wonder if Your Majesty is still capable of performing these tasks."

Kangxi was taken aback, then his face darkened instantly. He reached out and pinched Mingxiu's chin, sneering, "Hmph, I see you really don't know what's good for you. You don't want to get a good rest tonight, do you?"

"Then I wonder how Your Majesty plans to keep me from getting any rest?" Mingxiu, still oblivious to the fact that she was trying to hide her flirtatious glances at Kangxi, her tone full of provocation.

"You'll find out soon enough," Kangxi sneered. This damned woman dared to doubt him! He lowered his head and kissed her directly.

Mingxiu hadn't even had a chance to get into the bathtub before Kangxi stripped her naked. A moment later, the sounds of a woman's soft moans drifted from inside the bathroom. Those serving outside, hearing the noise, discreetly moved a little further away.

Mingxiu and Kangxi had been married for so many years, and Kangxi knew exactly what Mingxiu's sensitive spots were. With a few teasing moves, Kangxi had completely aroused Mingxiu's interest.

The whole night went by relentlessly. Perhaps stimulated by Mingxiu's words, Kangxi was unusually excited and intense tonight. Mingxiu lay on the bed, holding Kangxi's head in her hands. Mingxiu felt like a small boat tossed about on a turbulent sea.

After a night of commotion, the noise in the house finally stopped just before dawn, and Mingxiu had fallen into a deep sleep.

It was sometime in the morning when Mingxiu slowly opened her eyes. Turning her head, she saw Kangxi sitting next to her on the bed, her waist movements slightly unnatural.

Seeing this, Mingxiu's thoughts hadn't returned yet, and she couldn't help but crack a smile. She had to admit she was getting old!

Seeing that Kangxi seemed to be turning around, Mingxiu quickly closed her eyes. Some things are better left unsaid; it's best to save face for the man in these matters.

Kangxi glanced at the bed and saw that Mingxiu was still asleep. He secretly breathed a sigh of relief and walked out with somewhat unnatural steps.

Mingxiu bit her lip, trying her best to hold back her laughter. Only after everyone had left did she open her mouth and laugh silently.

After she finished laughing, she slowly got up to wash up. Chenghuan had already arrived outside. When Mingxiu came out, she saw Chenghuan sitting on a stool, talking to Kangxi, with her belly slightly protruding.

When Chenghuan saw Mingxiu come out, her eyes lit up and she quickly stood up. Her movements were so fast that Kangxi and Mingxiu were startled. Mingxiu quickly went over to support her, muttering, "Be careful, be careful."

Mingxiu walked over, helped Chenghuan sit down, reached out and touched her belly, and sighed, "When we left, you had only been married for a short time. I didn't expect that the baby would be born soon now."

Cheng Huan was somewhat reluctant. "Isn't it because Mother and Father have been away from the palace for too long and don't miss me at all? If you come back later, you might be able to see the baby born."
