But she wasn't very hungry yet. Looking at her outfit, she wore a white T-shirt that looked old but was clean because the owner had taken good care of it. She also wore blue denim capri pants and black shoes. It wasn't exactly stylish, but it was definitely not good-looking either.

So Mingxiu thought she should buy some clothes first, and then go eat.

Unfortunately, with these thoughts in mind, Mingxiu went into the clothing store next door. When Mingxiu walked in, she saw two shop assistants and several customers.

Mingxiu didn't look at it much, but looked directly at the clothes. The original owner of the body was slightly chubby, but her skin was very fair and her arms were a bit thick, so many clothes were not very suitable for her and would expose many of her flaws.

Mingxiu wandered around the store for a while and finally found a suitable dress. It was a blue hollowed-out dress with a high waistline and a V-neck that perfectly showed off her waistline and fair skin. The wide puff sleeves could perfectly cover her thick arms.

Mingxiu took it down and glanced at it; it wasn't her size. She looked around and noticed a shop assistant looking down at her phone. Mingxiu greeted her, "Excuse me, could you please get me a size larger?" Mingxiu waved her hand and said.

The shop assistant, who was looking down at her phone, looked up when she heard the voice and saw Mingxiu beckoning her over. She glanced at Mingxiu from head to toe, then gave her a somewhat disdainful look before reluctantly walking over.

Mingxiu! ! !

Hmm? If she wasn't mistaken, this person's eyes were looking down on her.

"Miss, are you sure you want to buy this? This is a high-end store, and the clothes here aren't something everyone can afford," the sales assistant said as she approached.

Mingxiu took a deep breath. Very well, that look in his eyes just now really looked down on her. Mingxiu forced a smile and said, "Whether I buy it or not depends on whether it looks good on me. You didn't even bring me any clothes, how am I supposed to know if they look good on me, so naturally I don't know whether to buy them or not."

"If you're not going to buy anything, then hurry up and leave. I've already told you, not everyone can come into our store, especially not some poor bumpkins who want to show off. Who knows if they're just looking for a bunch of clothes but won't buy anything? Our business is ruined by people like you," the salesperson said disdainfully.

Mingxiu was speechless for a moment after being rebuked. She wasn't the type to hold back, so she retorted, "Miss, what kind of attitude is this? First of all, whether I buy clothes or not, I'm a customer who came into the store. Since you work here, shouldn't you serve your customers well? Otherwise, what's the point of your boss hiring you?"

"Besides, is this your store? Did I say I couldn't afford it? And what does it matter to you whether I can afford it or not? With your attitude, it's a miracle that any clothes in your store can be sold. Which clothes shop is full of excuses?" Mingxiu started to argue back. She hadn't been treated like this in a long time.

"What are you saying? Humph, let me tell you, I'm doing this for the good of our store. Look at what you're wearing, you're obviously not rich. Can you afford the clothes in our store? If you can't, we'll have to send a bunch of clothes to be cleaned. I'm doing this to save money for our store." The sales clerk said somewhat guiltily but still arrogantly.

"How do you know I can't afford it? Where does your sense of superiority come from? I'm so confused. I already said I'd try it on. How am I supposed to know if it fits before I even try it on? Does your store not allow trying on clothes? Or do you require customers to buy clothes just to enter? Are you trying to force me to buy something?" Mingxiu was furious. What kind of person is this?

As Mingxiu spoke, her voice grew louder and louder, drawing the attention of those around her. As the crowd grew larger, the shop assistants became somewhat nervous.

"Hmph, I don't believe you can afford it. Get out of here, you bumpkin. Don't delay our business. Can you take responsibility for ruining our shop's business?"

Mingxiu! ! !

Damn, I've never seen such a shameless person.

"How can you be like this? What do you mean I'm delaying your business? I was just trying on clothes, and you kept making excuses and wouldn't even take the clothes. You kept calling me a 'person like me.' Do you think I'm that serious? We're all working people, why are we divided into high and low? If you think working people are lowly, then don't do this job." Mingxiu kept babbling on.

"Exactly, exactly. Every time I pass by your shop, you look down on me. Who would want to buy clothes from you?" an old man next to him chimed in.

"Exactly! I originally planned to come in to buy clothes for my wife, but because I had just come back from the construction site and wasn't dressed very well, you immediately started criticizing me. I was so angry that I never went to your store again. Later, my wife bought a lot of clothes from the store across from yours. Haven't you learned your lesson yet? You're still judging people by their appearance." An uncle next to me said indignantly, feeling angry as he recalled the incident.

People gathered around gradually started to speak. Mingxiu raised an eyebrow as she listened to their voices. It seemed that everyone was very dissatisfied with the employee's behavior.

Mingxiu stood in the middle, watching everyone talk about the treatment their shop had received. She looked on with schadenfreude as the shop assistant's face grew increasingly red, without saying a word. People like that just needed to be taught a lesson.
