New book is open: "Qing Dynasty Transmigration: Fourth Master's Beloved Consort", welcoming new and old friends to follow.
Before transmigration, Lin Mengyao was a leftover woman ...
The two continued walking forward, only to find that the grass was getting taller and taller, almost reaching their heads!
"Master, this grass is so tall, what if there are snakes?" Lanqin held Fourth Master's hand and walked on tiptoe through the grass.
"Don't worry, snakes won't dare to hurt people; they'll just avoid them!" Fourth Master said with a smile.
"Master, what exactly do you want me for?" Lanqin asked.
"Look!" Fourth Master said, raising his hand to push aside the tall grass in front of him.
Lanqin was about to say something when she saw a cluster of "little stars" fluttering in front of her and immediately fell silent.
Before her eyes, tiny points of light danced in the darkness. Against the backdrop of the sky, Lanqin reached out to touch the "stars." The light of the "stars" flickered on and off at her fingertips—a truly wonderful sensation.
"They're fireflies!" Lanqin exclaimed with delight as she looked at the countless dancing little "stars" before her, smiling as she spoke to Fourth Master.
"Is this surprise big enough?" Fourth Master's eyes deepened under the glow of the fireflies.
"Yes, what a wonderful surprise!" Lanqin said happily. The romance that Fourth Master had created for her was truly grand.
Who would have thought that our Fourth Prince actually has a romantic streak! Lanqin thought to herself, having been with him for seven years, the cold-faced Fourth Prince may not be cold, but he is definitely not a romantic person either.
Watching the little creatures fluttering around, Lanqin stretched out her arms, letting the fireflies stay and flit about on her body.
The Fourth Prince watched with doting eyes as Lanqin reveled in the fireflies. What a wonderful feeling this was! Watching the woman he loved, immersed in the romance he had created for her, was an absolute pleasure for any man.
"Master, why are there so many fireflies here?" Lanqin asked softly.
“This patch of grass is lush and full of plump women; it should be a good habitat for fireflies!” Fourth Master said.
“These fireflies are so beautiful. I have never seen so many fireflies before,” Lanqin said.
"If you like it, why don't you have someone catch it and put it in your yard?" Fourth Master said.
“No, fireflies are animals that don’t adapt well to new environments. If we catch them, they probably won’t live long.” Lanqin thought of the tragic fate of fireflies in later generations who were caught and put in bottles.
"I'll have someone clear out a patch of grass in your yard to create that kind of environment! They don't necessarily need to live on this grassland," Fourth Master said domineeringly.
Lanqin couldn't help but nod and say, "Okay!" Just thinking about seeing this scene every day is a wonderful thing!
"Why are all these fireflies staying here and won't leave?" Lanqin wondered after watching for a while. She suddenly realized that the fireflies seemed to only fly around in this area and wouldn't fly anywhere else.
Fourth Master also noticed this problem. He couldn't understand why the fireflies flew around in this area and refused to scatter.
Lanqin looked at this strange phenomenon and brought the fireflies in her hand close to her eyes to observe their bioluminescence.
"Grandpa, these fireflies seem to have a blue glow on their tails!" Lanqin suddenly noticed. They looked brighter than ordinary fireflies, and their tails glowed blue.
"Let me see!" Fourth Master couldn't resist catching a firefly to look at it.
The two looked at the slightly different fireflies and fell into deep thought.
