New book is open: "Qing Dynasty Transmigration: Fourth Master's Beloved Consort", welcoming new and old friends to follow.
Before transmigration, Lin Mengyao was a leftover woman ...
After chatting and laughing with the four girls for a while, Lanqin took the cloak for Hongli and Hongzhou and went to Wanfang Anhe.
"Oh dear, I'm going to take a nap. Xueying, why don't you go take a nap too? Getting up so early isn't good for your complexion," Wuxiha said with a smile, glancing at Fucha Mingyu.
Fucha Mingyu had been feeling uneasy because Xueying seemed to please Lanqin more than she did. When she saw Wuxiha teasing her about her bad complexion, she immediately turned around and walked towards her Chunhaoxuan.
"Ushiha, why are you targeting Sister Mingyu like this!" Before Bechuk could stop Fucha Mingyu, he turned around and said.
"Where did I target her? Did I target her? Did I get up early and just look unwell? Did I say something wrong?" Wuxiha yawned again, a smile playing on her lips as she watched Fucha Mingyu's retreating figure. After living together for over a month, she disliked the eldest daughter of the Fucha family even more.
"Oh dear, you should go back to sleep. I'll go check on her," Bechuk said, winking at Xueying.
After Bechuk left, Xueying walked up to Wuxiha, reached out and pinched her ear, saying, "Go back to sleep, my Third Princess!"
“Look at her expression just now. This is the first time my mother has come to see us, and she had that long face on her face. Who is she trying to impress? Also, what right does she have to interfere in the sisterly relationship between me and Bechuk? She even said she wanted to switch places with Bechuk, as if my mother is biased towards me. Doesn’t that just make Bechuk feel that way even more?” Ushiha said.
Despite her seemingly carefree and easygoing nature, Wuxiha is not as oblivious as she appears. Her words impressed Xueying.
"What, do you think I don't understand? She understands that she's just trying to please my mother, but pleasing her is one thing, but there's no need to go to such lengths. Standing at the door early in the morning, making both me and Bechuk feel incredibly embarrassed," Ushiha said, still not appeased. She disliked the rules and morals that Fucha Mingyu usually talked about.
"So, does that mean I'm stealing your business by making this breakfast?" Xueying asked, her eyes wide, when she heard Wuxiha say that.
“You’re nothing like her. You discussed with me a long time ago about preparing breakfast for my mother today. Unlike her, she didn’t even tell Bechuk. How can you be the same?” Ushiha said, pouting.
Xueying smiled and pinched Wuxiha's cheek, saying, "Alright, she is, after all, the Fourth Prince's future principal wife, your sister-in-law."
“We’re not married yet, so it doesn’t count. Even if we were, I wouldn’t like it, I just wouldn’t like it,” Ushiha said.
A glint flashed in Xueying's eyes, but it disappeared in an instant, disappearing into the depths of her eyes. Then she smiled and said, "Alright, go back and get some sleep. The concubine has gone to the Fourth Prince and the Fifth Prince's place. I reckon she'll invite us to have lunch together."
Ushiha yawned and went back to his room.
"Princess, I didn't expect that Miss Fucha was so angry." A'Luo said, holding up her newly acquired sable fur cloak.
"She's always been self-important, and now that she sees me gaining favor with the concubine, she can't stand it. Coupled with the Fourth Princess's teasing, she's probably quite frustrated," Xueying said, pointing towards Chunhaoxuan.
