"Why didn't you tell me sooner? Did you wait until I lost everything because of you before you spoke up?" Fourteenth Prince lifted the corner of his robe and shook off Chen's hand.

"Your Highness, I know you won't agree, nor will you give up the struggle for the throne for my father's sake. So my father may be doomed. Your Highness, I really can't stand by and watch him die. He used to love me the most," Chen cried. "You are the Emperor's son, so your life is not in danger. But my father is different. If the Emperor wants his life, he only needs to open his mouth."
