The female protagonist has a system that makes her more beautiful based on the original body's foundation. She is a crowd-pleaser, and the story will never be angst-inducing for the female lead...
The pleasure boats in the capital were very popular among the nobles. Yinzhen chartered the most famous pleasure boat, whose workmanship was exquisite in every detail, and the craftsmen's skills were only slightly inferior to those of the imperial family.
Yinzhen looked at Wen Xian, who was even more radiant in her red gauze dress, and his eyes dimmed slightly. "Sister looks very beautiful today."
Wen Xian covered her mouth and laughed, "You always like to please me, but our Fourteenth Prince today is not bad either."
Overjoyed, Wen Xian began to inquire about the two generals from Yinzhen. She asked him curiously, "Fourteenth Brother, are the two generals really as handsome as the common people say, even more so than Young Master Chen Qinglan?"
Yinzhen paused for a moment, then said firmly, "Aruna and Alusa are far more beautiful than Chen Qinglan."
Wen Xian had met Chen Qinglan before, and she had to admit that this young master, hailed as the most handsome man in the capital and someone everyone wanted to marry, truly deserved it. His skin was like jade, his eyes were strikingly beautiful, and he possessed a refined and elegant bearing. Most remarkably, he exuded a dashing and debonair air, every movement displaying the impeccable demeanor of a nobleman. He was charming yet refined, truly unparalleled. Although Wen Xian didn't particularly like this type of man, she couldn't deny his good looks. She couldn't imagine what someone even more handsome would look like. Thinking of this, she became even more eager for the arrival of the two Left Guard generals.
However, what Yinzhen didn't expect was that before his beloved arrived, his close friend, Ninth Brother, arrived even faster.
Looking at the wicked yet somewhat effeminate man in black standing on the opposite boat, Yinzhen's expression stiffened slightly. "What brings Ninth Brother to the boat today?"
Yinzhen opened his folding fan and chuckled: "I just wanted to see the scenery by the river on a whim. I didn't expect that my fourteenth brother and fifth sister would also come to enjoy the boat ride. What a coincidence! Why don't we ride in the same boat?"
Yinzhen's face darkened further. He pursed his lips as he looked at Yintang, who had already boarded the ship despite asking a question.
Yinzhen naturally noticed Yintang's displeasure, but what could he do when Yinzhen had just bought one of his properties? The sudden boat trip with people made him wonder if the two young generals were involved. Even if they weren't, so what? He loved to gamble. "Hehe," Yintang chuckled, casually tossing two purplish grapes into his mouth.
Gazing into the distance, after half an incense stick's time, Yinzhen saw a familiar figure in the distance, and his smile widened. He had made the right bet.
Qingyin and Aluna boarded the cruise ship, their eyes flickering slightly as they noticed the extra few people on board.
Wen Xian glanced at the two men wearing veils, a fleeting look of disappointment crossing her eyes. However, remembering that they would remove them later when they ate, she calmly introduced herself: "Gentlemen, seeing is believing. I am Zhen'er's older sister. You can call me Miss Wen when we're out."
Yin Tang raised an eyebrow and smiled, "Just call me Ninth Young Master. You two young masters shouldn't be too formal."
Yinzhen joined in, smiling at Qingyin: "Asa and Ana, don't be shy, just have fun. Today, this ship is sailing all the way to the coast, and we can see the beautiful scenery along the way. This is different from Tibet, and it is worth appreciating."
Qingyin nodded, "Thank you for the reminder, Fourteenth Young Master, Ninth Young Master, and Miss Wen. We will appreciate it."
Yinzhen looked at Qingyin, who had returned to her distant attitude towards him, and felt a sense of panic in his eyes. However, with his sister and ninth brother present, he couldn't be too obvious, so he could only swallow his words.
Yinzhen took in the whole scene. His younger brother's attitude towards General Arusa was a little different. He chuckled almost imperceptibly, looking at Qingyin and Aruna, who were wearing masks. What should he do? He disliked nothing more than a beautiful jade being covered in flaws. How could he hide such a precious treasure?
Qingyin keenly sensed Yintang's restless heart. Seeing Yintang trying to get closer, Qingyin turned around and switched places with her brother. Now, Aluna was sitting opposite Wenxian, while Qingyin sat next to Yintang, opposite Yinzhen.
The boat had now reached the middle reaches of the Qingjiang River, with towering peaks and lush greenery on both banks. Qingyin casually removed her and her brother's veils, a slight smile playing on her lips as she looked at Yintang, "Does Ninth Prince want this plate of nuts?"
"Yes, that's right."
Yinzhen was somewhat surprised. He had thought that the two generals would not remove their veils again. He looked at Qingyin, who had taken off her hat, with amazement in his eyes.
Wen Xian, standing to the side, was equally shocked and amazed. Two identical, stunningly beautiful faces were right in front of her. This dazzling beauty instantly tinged her delicate face with a rosy pink hue. Just moments before, she had been poised and confident, but now, looking into those clear, deep blue eyes, she was inexplicably speechless.
She clutched her chest, wondering what to do. She seemed to know what kind of person she wanted to marry.
Yinzhen spent more time with Qingyin and had greater patience for both Qingyin and Aluna's looks. He was the most composed of them all. He felt a slight sense of relief as he watched Wenxian's gaze become more focused on Aluna.
Wen Xian was startled awake by Qingyin's voice. She withdrew her gaze from the stunning beauty of Aluna, her cheeks flushed, and softly said to Aluna, "I've heard that there's a legend about Qingjiang among the people."
Aruna looked at Wen Xian curiously and asked, "What legend?"
Wen Xian pretended to be calm and said, "There are many fish in the Qingjiang River, but the white and transparent fish are the rarest. I heard that a fairy named Baochai once fell into the Qingjiang River and turned into white fish. Whoever meets her will receive the fairy's blessing."
Qingyin greeted Wen Xian with a smile and said, "I wonder if we'll have that luck today?"
"It will happen." Yinzhen smiled as he looked at Qingyin.
The afterglow of the setting sun bathed them in a golden veil. In this dreamlike scene, Aruna gazed at the emerald green water flowing by the riverbank and noticed a white dot in the distance. He asked in confusion, "What's that?"
