Tong Chenger lived a bitter life. After her death, a self-proclaimed time administrator, Unit 1314, informed her that her difficult life was due to his mistake during his internship. He promised to...
Mo Chenyu also had older and younger sisters. He remembered that when his younger sister was about twelve years old, he took her out to play, but on the way back, she had a terrible stomachache.
He decided to go directly to the clinic to find a doctor to examine his sister. When his sister got off the carriage, there was blood behind her, a glaring crimson, which terrified Mo Chenyu.
He quickly carried his sister into the clinic. After the doctor examined her, he learned that his sister had started menstruating, a sign that she was becoming a woman.
He can still vividly recall his awkward situation at the time, as well as the doctor's ambiguous smile in the clinic.
Because of this incident, he later paid attention to the matter of women in his book. Now, Bian Lan's appearance is indeed similar to that of his younger sister when she had her period.
How could Mo Chenyu not be stunned and dumbfounded?
Only then did Mo Chenyu dare to take a closer look at Bian Lan. She had delicate features, but because of her dignified demeanor and lack of affectation, he had previously thought that she probably resembled her mother.
Furthermore, her skin was fair and delicate; you probably couldn't find anyone in the entire academy with skin as good as hers the next day. Her hands were small and soft, unlike the rough hands of men.
Mo Chenyu then looked at her Adam's apple, which was not very prominent. He hadn't thought much of it before, since she was still young, and some men's Adam's apples were not very noticeable. Now, it seemed to be proof that she was a woman.
At that moment, Mo Chenyu even wanted to undress her to take a look, but he didn't dare. What if she really was a girl? Her reputation would be ruined. He was a cripple, so what if she was a woman? He was not worthy of her.
With that thought in mind, Mo Chenyu made a move.
He reached out and pulled the blanket up for her, then tucked it in, staring intently at her features. After what seemed like an eternity, he came to his senses and left reluctantly.
The wind blew through the window, and the branches and flowers outside bloomed quietly, as if nothing had happened, yet as if everything had happened.
When Bian Lan woke up, she saw that she had started her period. She cleaned herself up, then sat there blankly with a book in her hand, lost in thought.
In Mo Chenyu's study, he also sat there blankly, holding a book, lost in thought.
Mo Ting pushed open the door and, seeing this scene, couldn't help but ask with concern, "Young Master, what happened to you?"
It's really strange how I seem to have left my soul behind after going out for a short while.
Mo Chenyu shook his head: "Nothing?"
Mo Ting: "Young Master didn't have dinner. Would you like some now?"
Mo Chenyu was about to say no, but then he thought of something and said, "I heard Bian Lan isn't feeling well today. I'm afraid she hasn't eaten yet. Could you take her some food? I'm not hungry."
Mo Ting said, "Young master, please eat first. I'll have the kitchen prepare another portion to send to Bian."
Mo Chenyu nodded: "Alright, thank you for your trouble."
Mo Ting smiled and said, "You're too kind, young master."
Bian Lan usually comes frequently; she's pretty and quite likable. When Mo Ting heard that she wasn't feeling well, he naturally went to see her.
Moting placed the food box on the table and then went out.
...
"Brother Moting, what brings you here?"
Mo Ting smiled and said, "Young Master said you weren't feeling well and was worried you hadn't eaten, so he specially asked me to bring you some food."
Bian Lan hadn't eaten, her stomach was upset, and she felt weak and powerless. She really didn't want to go to the cafeteria.
But then again, how did Mo Chenyu know she was unwell?
How did you know I wasn't feeling well, sir?
Mo Ting explained, "Liu X consulted with the gentleman this afternoon about some questions, and that's what he said."
Bian Lan breathed a sigh of relief and said, "I see. Thank you for making this trip."
"You're too kind. Please eat up. I'll be going now."
Mo Ting left the food behind before leaving.
Bian Lan looked at the food on the table and felt a warmth in her heart. She drank the soup and then began to eat, eating very carefully and attentively.
The next day, Bian Lan went to Mo Chenyu's study, and was a little quieter than before.
Last night, Mo Chenyu found a medical book he hadn't looked at in a long time and specifically read the section about women's menstruation.
Women often experience blood and qi deficiency during their menstrual period, so they should avoid overexertion, spicy and cold foods, and drink more brown sugar water and eat more blood-nourishing foods such as red dates.
Mo Chenyu: "I haven't been feeling well lately. Mo Ting found a doctor and got some herbal tea. You look weak, so drink some with me!"
Bian Lan was completely bewildered. What kind of herbal tea?
Then Mo Chenyu poured a large cup of red date and brown sugar tea from the big teapot. Bian Lan looked at the tea with big red dates floating on top of the brown sugar and was a little confused. Something seemed wrong with this medicinal tea.
Her lower abdomen felt cold, and the sight of hot tea made her feel much warmer.
I took a sip, and the temperature was just right—not too hot, not too cold. As I drank it, the tea warmed me up and down my stomach.
Bian Lan drank her tea attentively, while Mo Chenyu held a book in his hand, but his eyes and mind were no longer on the book.
After she finished drinking, Mo Chenyu asked, "How was it?"
Bian Lan nodded: "Not bad."
Mo Chenyu added, "Mo Ting forgot I don't like sweets. There's still a lot of this herbal tea left, take it all back with you!"
Bian Lan was stunned: "Isn't this a bit inappropriate?"
Mo Chenyu said with a smile, "If you don't drink it, I doubt anyone else will. Just accept it! It's better than letting it go moldy, don't you think?"
In the end, Bian Lan naturally accepted it, feeling sweet inside and her stomach felt better.
She had experienced being given brown sugar water by her crush before. Although it was unintentional, it was still enough to make Bian Lan secretly happy.
"Then thank you for your kindness, sir."
Bian Lan laughed after she finished speaking.
