A searing pain shot through his back; the iron chains, carrying an incredibly high temperature, had completely ignored the Ghost Flood Dragon Scale Armor's defenses and injured Qiao Suinian.

Qiao Suinian could feel that the flesh on his back where he had just been struck by the iron chain was charred.
