I entered the room.

Qingyou called out affectionately, "Master, we're here!"

Shen Ke greeted Abbot Nan with utmost respect.

The abbot of Nanguan put down his book and said with a smile, "Come and sit down."

After Qingyou sat down, she introduced, "Master, this is Shen Ke, whom I told you about."

"I feel like there's something inside him, but I'm not sure, so I'd like you to take a look."

She had a guess, but because she hadn't studied this area for long, she lacked experience and needed a mentor to teach her.

The abbot of the Southern Temple sensed it for a moment, but did not feel anything inside Shen Ke's body.

He said, "You are naturally more sensitive than others, and what you sense may be true."

Then he said to Shen Ke, "Stretch out your hand, let me see it."

Shen Ke did as instructed, leaning in to take a deep sniff.

I discovered that the bottle was emitting a strange fragrance that I had never smelled before, mixed with a hint of bloodiness, which was very odd.

The abbot of Nanguan sealed the porcelain bottle and took Chen Ke's pulse again.

After a moment, he said, "Qingyou really did sense it."

If it weren't for his beloved apprentice saying he had this feeling, he really wouldn't have been able to discover the problem in Shen Ke's body by taking his pulse.

Shen Ke couldn't help but feel nervous. "Master, what's inside my body?"

The abbot of the Southern Temple did not answer, but looked at Qingyou and asked, "What do you think?"

Qingyou answered decisively, "He must have been poisoned by a Gu worm."

Master Nan's eyes revealed admiration, "As expected of my disciple, he is so clever."

Qingyou laughed and said, "That's right. If I were too bad, wouldn't I be tarnishing my master's reputation?"

Master Nanguan was clearly pleased with his disciple's words, and his smile deepened.

Shen Ke was stunned. "I have Gu worms inside me?"
