Chapter Thirty-Two: Finding a Baby Zombie (Part Ten)

"What did you say?!" the Beast King roared.

Feng Yi kept wiping his sweat. His Wang was too fond of offending people. Had it forgotten how many people it had brought today?

In front of the zombies were only five human-like men. Aside from the child-like Su Xi and the androgynous Feng Yi, there were three other men, each with a distinct style. One had slightly reddish eyes and a tall, thin build. Another was a true tough guy, with a resolute face and particularly spirited eyes. The last one was handsome, but seemed somewhat petty, with a sinister look in his eyes; this was Qing Zun.

While observing everyone's expressions, Qingzun scoffed at Su Xi, but at the same time, he was glad that Bai Wei had been summoned today.

Su Xi raised her small hand, spreading it flat. A small purple lightning bolt instantly appeared, surging continuously, surrounded by wisps of mist. Looking at the Beast King, the beast reflexively took a step back, frightened by its gaze.

The Beast Queen looked at the lightning warily, still feeling a bit uneasy as she recalled the experience of being charred and burned ten years ago.

"To fight or not to fight?"

"kill!"

With a swipe of its tiger claws, the Beast King unleashed a roaring charge of its mutated beast army towards the zombie horde.

Su Xi summoned a purple thunder dragon, leaped onto its head, and turned to Feng Yi and the other zombie kings, saying, "You teach them a lesson, I'll deal with the beast king."

"Yes, sir!"

Even if they weren't directly facing the Beast King, they could still easily handle the other mutated beasts. In an instant, their supernatural abilities shone brightly.

Su Xi rode the Thunder Dragon around the attacking birds and went straight to the back. Her delicate face was calm and composed, and she didn't take them seriously at all.

"Su Xi, let me tell you, now you're not the only one with superpowers, I am too." The Beast King panicked a little when it saw it flying over, and transformed into a blond man with beast legs, deep features, and a touch of exoticism.

"It can turn into a human again?" Su Xi raised an eyebrow with interest and drew closer with lightning.

"Don't you know what era we live in? Animals can't become spirits anymore, that's all that matters now." The Beast King said smugly, then waved his hand and summoned a water dragon that rushed towards Su Xi.

This water jet only has an upper half; the lower half is just a water column. It rushes over very slowly, like a toy water gun, and there's no sense of danger at all.

When Su Xi saw the dragon, she almost burst out laughing. "This is what you call having superpowers?"

It controlled the Thunder Dragon to shift its position, easily dodging the attack.

"Are you scared?" The Beast King pressed on, summoning another large swath of water to rush towards Su Xi. This time, the water had no shape and moved much faster.

Su Xi sighed and shook her head, then lightly touched the water with her little finger, which was covered in lightning. Purple lightning rushed along the water to its source, reaching the Beast King's palm and instantly electrifying his entire body.

"Ahhh!"

The Beast King let out a few strange howls, and the water, out of control, scattered everywhere. Water conducts electricity, carrying the lightning with it, and instantly a large number of mutated beasts were struck, their screams echoing everywhere.

The Beast King was charred black by the lightning, his golden hair turned black, and smoke rose from his head. Unable to stand, he collapsed to the ground.

Su Xi summoned lightning to the front of the Beast King and jumped down.

The mutated beasts witnessed its power and watched helplessly as it slowly approached their king, yet none of them dared to step forward.

Su Xi walked up to it, squatted down, and poked its dark forehead with her finger. "Hey, you're too sensitive to electricity."

The Beast King wanted to cry, "I thought that after evolving so much, I wouldn't be afraid of your lightning anymore. How could I have known that I would get shocked even more badly?"

"That's because you haven't heard that water can conduct electricity." Su Xi's tone was as if the Beast King were an old friend, and that their surroundings hadn't turned into a battlefield.

"You mean water conducts electricity? What's that?" The Beast King looked completely bewildered.

Su Xi raised her small hand, which was crackling with purple lightning. She smiled and said, "Do you want to try again? I'll show you more clearly."

The Beast King shuddered at the sight of the lightning, shrank back, and waved his hand, "I don't want it."

Su Xi withdrew the lightning and looked at it, "Beast King, you're actually quite stupid. But you're much simpler than those despicable humans."

Are you praising me or insulting me?

The surrounding mutated beasts were speechless. "Your Majesty, are you serious about chatting on the battlefield? Or are you actually using delaying tactics to let them deal with all those nasty zombies?"

The mutated beasts paused for a moment, then decisively believed the latter, roared, bared their sharp teeth, and charged forward even more fiercely!

"Beast King, why do you insist on fighting me?"

The spot where the Beast King was electrocuted was burning with pain. All it wanted was to revert to its original form and lick it properly. Hearing this question, it said aggrievedly, "Actually, we'd rather fight humans than you. They're not as strong as you, and they have much better resources. But they're very clever, and the walls they've built are too strong for us to break through."

"You're fighting me because of resources?" Su Xi extracted the key words from it.

The Beast King nodded aggrievedly, "There are more and more mutated beasts, always crowding the tribe. The more they crowd, the more there are, until there's no room left."

"So you just want more space to accommodate you?"

The Beast King nodded again.

Su Xi's lips twitched. "Why won't you negotiate with me?"

The Beast King said aggrievedly, "Because your subordinates said you're difficult to talk to, that you might be smiling one second and turning hostile the next. I fought with you a few times, and during our initial conversations, I found they were right; you really are difficult to talk to."

"That's just my habit." Su Xi pondered for a moment, then asked, "Who is this zombie king I was talking about?"

"Huh?" The Beast King was stunned. "The Zombie King is you."

Su Xi sighed and patiently explained, "I am not the only zombie king. All zombies without the characteristics of zombies are zombie kings. I am just the leader of them."

The Beast King understood. "Oh, then why don't you just call yourself Emperor?"

Su Xi's patience was nearing its end. "You still haven't answered my question."

"Don't be angry, I don't know it, it's a woman."

"A woman." Su Xi curled her lips into a cold smile; she knew who it was.

The Beast King felt a chill run down its spine when it saw that smile. "Could you please stop smiling like that?"

Su Xi put away her smile and looked at it, "Beast King, my territory is willing to accept your mutated beasts, but there are conditions. You cannot cause trouble at will, and you must obey my orders."

"Then you must also guarantee that the zombies will not bully our beastmen."

Su Xi laughed and said, "You're quite clever. I agree."

Are you still bleeding?

"……do what?"

"It sounds a bit far-fetched, but it's true. If your blood drips on my forehead, it will form a mark and make you my master."

Su Xi didn't speak immediately. Her eyes turned a deep blue and she stared straight into the Beast King's eyes.

After a while, a flash of eerie blue light appeared in Su Xi's eyes, which then turned black again. She pricked her fingertip and dripped a drop of blood onto its forehead.
