Between the Bering Sea and the Arctic Ocean lies a narrow strait. The Bering Strait isn't very deep, and when Xu Qiaoqiao crosses it, she always feels like she's about to swim to the surface.

After all, its average depth is only forty meters, and in winter, when the sea level drops, its visibility increases considerably.

The land on both sides was very close, like a passageway, Xu Qiaoqiao thought to herself. She tried her best to keep her body at a low height while swimming, otherwise, if she got excited or moved around a little, she would jump out of the sea.

Jun Qi swam alongside Xu Qiaoqiao. He looked at the shallow sea above, which seemed about to freeze over. He secretly poked Xu Qiaoqiao's tail: "Qiaoqiao, look, the sea here is so shallow."

Jun Qi nudged Xu Qiaoqiao's back with his pectoral fin, indicating: Qiaoqiao, what's wrong?

Xu Qiaoqiao slowed down and stopped completely. She turned around, facing Jun Qi's head, and flapped her pectoral fins: Jun Jun, didn't you see this when you came last time?

After speaking, he raised his head and pointed towards the sea.

Jun Qi swam a few steps forward, kissed Xu Qiaoqiao's lips, and rubbed her cheek against hers, looking adorable: "I don't know, I didn't notice. Last time I swam directly across the sea."

If he swam across the sea, it means that when he came last time, the sea surface was probably not like this, not quite frozen, but rather it was probably just the beginning of the polar night.

Xu Qiaoqiao figured that after living in the Arctic for so long, even if it wasn't the same world, these natural laws wouldn't change.

This long strait is also a major transportation route, serving as the boundary between Russia's Chukchi Peninsula and Alaska, USA, and the number of ships passing through it is no less than that of other vessels.

Just as Jun Qi was about to go out to check the sea, he noticed a large shadow appearing on the surface. Startled, he immediately swam back to Xu Qiaoqiao's side. It was a ship.

It's the big kind.

For Jun Qi, the image of whales hanging from their nose cones was still very vivid in his mind, and he could not forget it even after so many years.

Because of Jun Qi's action, Xu Qiaoqiao slowly crawled down to the bottom of the sea with him. She could feel Jun Qi's unhappiness, as well as his disgust and fear of those large ships.

Xu Qiaoqiao stopped abruptly, turned around, leaned in, and kissed Jun Qi's lips, then occasionally nuzzled him, a very intimate gesture. A series of bubbles rose from the middle as she flapped her pectoral fins.

She tried her best to comfort Jun Qi, saying, "Don't be afraid. We're so far away from those ships. They can't hurt us. You're such a cool guy, don't be such a coward."

To be honest, it was rare to see Jun Qi like this, and Xu Qiaoqiao couldn't help but feel sorry for him. Although they were not whales, they lived in the ocean and were large in size.

Junjun must have seen the scene of the ship hitting the whale directly, Xu Qiaoqiao thought. If it were her, she probably would have done the same.

I've seen photos of whale hunters online before, and just looking at them makes me feel angry and sad at the same time. They're so pitiful.

The seawater turned red. The whales struggled in the water because of their painful wounds, but it was no use. They eventually fell silent. The humans cheered loudly, celebrating this scene.

Upon receiving Xu Qiaoqiao's messages, Jun Qi realized what was happening. He felt a warm glow in his heart and a surge of joy welled up inside him. He whimpered, "Qiaoqiao, you're so kind! I was really scared."

Seeing this, Xu Qiaoqiao naturally wanted to comfort her boyfriend. It seemed that a kiss wasn't enough, so she took the initiative to turn over and press her body close to his, occasionally bumping into him with the help of the water's buoyancy.

Actions are more intuitive than words.

When Jun Qi sensed Xu Qiaoqiao's actions, his eyes widened in surprise. He was clearly taken aback by the little whale shark's sudden enthusiasm, and the terrifying images in his mind vanished instantly.

After he realized what was happening, he excitedly kissed her face several times, his tail gently hooking around Xu Qiaoqiao's tail and rubbing against her, creating a tender feeling. Finally, he gently touched her lips with his own.

Her pectoral fins twitched slightly: I'm all better, Jojo, thank you.

After saying that, he blinked, his eyes full of joy, and added: I love you so much, Qiaoqiao.

Xu Qiaoqiao happily squinted her eyes and said: I love you too, Junjun, I will always love you, no matter which world we are in.

Jun Qi couldn't understand Qiao Qiao's last words, but he knew she was also confessing her feelings to him. So, he happily wagged his tail and kissed Xu Qiao Qiao on the cheek several times.

It wasn't the first time Jun Qi had heard the other person confess their feelings, but he still felt as excited and happy as if it were the first time.
