"Gaoh~ Gaoh~"

The two emperor penguin fathers called out a few times, trying to bend down and get closer to their little ones, but they got so close that their bellies were practically touching.

When they bent their necks, their beaks would collide, but seeing the two little ones being so affectionate, chirping away, they hesitated for a moment, wondering whether to leave.

Although it's our first time being fathers, we've seen what other emperor penguin chicks in our family look like when they hatch before we had our own chicks. Even if they're close to each other, they're not like that right from birth, are they?

Moreover, those emperor penguin chicks weren't friendly at all; they were constantly provoking each other and trying to fight.

However, this is not the case for these two babies.

The two new fathers were unsure of what to do.

Never mind, let's take another look first.

Inside the pouches of the two emperor penguin fathers, Jun Qi and Xu Qiaoqiao were still talking to each other, though neither of them could understand what the other was saying. However, they couldn't hide the joy in their hearts.

Xu Qiaoqiao had just looked around and knew that Jun Qi was a penguin when she saw him. However, she looked at the adult emperor penguins before she was sure that the animals she and Jun Jun were dressed as were emperor penguins.

Emperor penguins, also known as king penguins, are the largest species in the penguin family.

Their height is exceptional among penguins. They are social animals, just like Junqi just saw, surrounded by emperor penguin fathers, each with a baby penguin hidden in their pouch.

The chirping sounds were incessant, and they sounded rather noisy.

From the outside, penguins are actually very cute and don't look very different. However, there are actually some differences between them.

Emperor penguins are often confused with king penguins. First of all, the two species look very similar, both wearing a black and white coat, with a reddish-orange beak and a patch of orange-yellow feathers under their necks that gradually fade downwards.

However, unlike king penguins, emperor penguins are larger and have yellow ears.

None of these are the most important things. The most important thing is that this animal is a protected species. If an aquarium wants to adopt one, it needs to meet very high qualifications. It is in a similar situation to polar bears. Due to global warming, the sea ice is melting at an accelerated rate, which poses a huge risk to them.

In terms of numbers, it is quite safe, but the harsh environment and the irreversible consequences make their situation much more difficult.

The downy feathers of baby emperor penguins are not as distinctly colored as those of adult emperor penguins. Only a few tufts of black feathers on their heads are relatively noticeable. Their whole bodies are grayish, and their necks look thin, giving them the appearance of having large heads.

Xu Qiaoqiao chirped a few times. She was a newborn penguin and looked very thin, but her chirping was very strong. She leaned her head over, wanting to touch Jun Qi, but the distance was a bit far, so the two little ones could only rub their beaks together.

"Chirp chirp chirp!" Qiao Qiao.

Xu Qiaoqiao was still immersed in the joy of reuniting with her beloved boyfriend. After she came to her senses, she called out to him with a kiss and waved her cute arms.

Junjun, do you retain your memories?

Perhaps it was because Xu Qiaoqiao's gaze was too serious that Jun Qi noticed it. He first tried to guess what Qiaoqiao meant by her action, but after thinking for a few seconds, he couldn't figure it out and gave up. He winked at Qiaoqiao, chirped, and waved his thin arm.

"Chirp chirp".

After calling out, Jun Qi nodded to Xu Qiaoqiao. Based on his understanding of Qiaoqiao, he knew she was definitely asking some questions, probably about him, so a nod was enough.

"Chirp chirp chirp~ Chirp chirp chirp~ Chirp~"

"Waaaaah, I didn't expect Junjun to really have memories. I feel like crying." Xu Qiaoqiao covered her mouth, feeling touched and happy about this.

She really wanted to rush into her boyfriend's arms, get close to him, and rub against his soft fur.

Unexpectedly, the wish he had before he died in the last world was fulfilled.

At least, we don't have to guess what animal Junjun will dress up as anymore.

After all, the emperor penguin's natural enemies seem to be almost all in the water, like leopard seals and killer whales. Long-distance relationships won't work, you know.

She can't take it.

Xu Qiaoqiao felt Jun Qi gently rub her beak a few more times, and she quickly responded.

"Chirp chirp chirp".

Emperor penguins have their own language system, but clearly these two fake emperor penguin chicks haven't learned it yet and can only chirp at each other.

The two emperor penguin fathers finally separated a little, but they were still very close to each other, mainly because of their two little chicks.

After seeing his baby successfully hatch, the emperor penguin father was clearly very happy. He took two steps back and began to cuddle with his baby.

The two emperor penguin chicks hadn't eaten since they were born. Jun Qi's emperor penguin father looked a little anxious. He bent down and gently rubbed his chicks with his beak, a very affectionate gesture. Then he opened his mouth, hoping that his chicks would eat something, otherwise they would starve to death before the emperor penguin mother returned.

Jun Qi was slightly taken aback when he saw his emperor penguin father opening his beak, then realized that he was being fed.
