Time slowly passes, tides rise and fall, and this month is gradually coming to an end. Soon, a new month will arrive.

As summer transitions into autumn, temperatures gradually decrease and the rate of ice melting slows down. On the first day of March, Antarctica was hit by a blizzard.

At first, the wind was getting stronger and stronger, and light snow was falling from the sky. Xu Qiaoqiao and Jun Qi had experienced Arctic blizzards before, so they could tell at a glance that a blizzard was coming.

Jun Qi and Xu Qiaoqiao exchanged a glance, knowing that the other had also figured it out. They nodded to each other, and then Jun Qi called Happy over and asked him to tell every emperor penguin about it, while they quickly went ashore.

"Caw caw caw!" A blizzard is coming! Everyone run!

"Gah gah!" How scary, how scary!

Happy wasn't the only one shouting; the emperor penguins who heard it also started shouting, though they weren't that aware of the situation yet—it was just something they shouted out of fear.

However, the more emperor penguins call out, the more they hear, especially those emperor penguins that have just swum to the surface. The snow is not very heavy yet, and the sea is not very turbulent. After hearing the message from their companions, they will begin to leave the sea.

The snow gradually fell heavier, the wind became stronger, the seawater began to churn, and the sound of the waves became much deeper as they continuously pounded against the ice on the shore. The sky also gradually darkened.

"Huh?" Has everyone made it ashore?

After Xu Qiaoqiao and Jun Qi finally got ashore, she turned to look at the sea, squinted her eyes slightly, and after a few seconds, after confirming that no emperor penguins were lingering in the sea, she quickly fled the scene with Jun Jun.

I don't know why, maybe everyone has a special meaning to the word "home". When an accident happens, the emperor penguins jump back to the shore, and the escape route is the route home.

This was the first blizzard they had experienced since leaving their parents and arriving here. Once they left the sea and reached a relatively safe environment, their fear quickly disappeared, and the emperor penguins were quite excited.

Today's blizzard was much smaller than the first one, and the temperature didn't drop much. In general, even without huddling together like this, the chances of survival were still quite high.

Xu Qiaoqiao blinked a few times, then turned her head and threw herself into Jun Qi's arms, rubbing her face against his chest several times. The feathers there were wet and a little uncomfortable.

She pointed to the pile of emperor penguins next to her and said to Jun Qi.

Jun Qi looked at everyone; they all had their heads down, huddled together, moving slowly, just like the Emperor Penguin parents had done back then.

He was silent for a few seconds, then hugged Xu Qiaoqiao back and directly rejected the suggestion: "No need, we can go somewhere a little over there."

Compared to the scale of the blizzard, he felt he could handle it and didn't need the collective effort for the time being.

Xu Qiaoqiao nodded obediently, "Okay, then I won't play with them."

Jun Qi led Xu Qiaoqiao a little further inside, and the two of them found a relatively secluded corner, a rather solid glacier, although it had almost melted due to the arrival of summer.

However, summer is now over, and in a while, the glacier is expected to increase in size considerably.
