In the blink of an eye, the lotus flower was about to disappear at the end of the alley.

In a moment of desperation, she could only help Xie Shiyan unload the various things he was carrying.

A few children happened to be passing by.

Xie Shiyan stopped in front of the restaurant and chuckled softly.

Hearing his sneer, Gu Jiangli asked, "What's wrong?"

Xie Shiyan's tone was sarcastic: "Baiwei Pavilion is the most expensive restaurant in the capital. Staying here for one night is enough to feed a family on that street for half a month. Hehua's mother really knows how to pick a place."

Gu Jiangli opened her lips, wanting to say something but not knowing where to begin.

Indeed, that's the kind of person my wet nurse was.

She looked down on the white flour that poor people ate, and whenever she had money, she would go out for a big meal and never saved any money.
