"I feel like I can't control myself anymore; I really want to eat you, eat you bite by bite." The cold blade lightly grazed Xia Linyue's cheek, and the handsome man before her smile...
"Put down your weapons! Put your hands up!"
The dark muzzle of the gun was pointed at Xia Linyin and the others; the caliber alone indicated that the gun was quite powerful.
Two men dressed in combat uniforms and boots stood outside the elevator. They were tall and imposing, equipped with sophisticated weapons. Next to them was a tall, thin man with shoulder-length curly blond hair wearing a hat.
The curly-haired man was carrying the same submachine gun as them, but he was only wearing an ordinary T-shirt and trousers, and his aura was not as strong as the two fully armed men.
Besides them, there were two familiar faces: the captain and Mr. Canton.
Canton's well-tailored white suit jacket was gone, leaving only a shirt that was no longer white, with a large tear in the sleeve, hanging tatteredly on his arm.
“Mr. Canton—”
The black-haired man standing in the middle, exuding an imposing aura, interrupted Xia Linyin and warned sternly, "Put down your weapons!"
“Hanova, I know them. They’re just passengers on the Ago,” Canton explained.
Hanova didn't move the gun away, and shouted gruffly, "I don't want to say the same thing a third time!"
Trian loosened her grip, and with a "thud," her stiletto sandals fell to the ground. She raised her hands.
Xia Linyin threw the crescent blade to the ground.
"Fuck!" John cursed and threw away his pistol.
Hanova led his men into the elevator, instantly making the small elevator crowded.
"No! We have to get out! We can't stay in the elevator!" Trian tried to squeeze out. "There are monsters on the cruise ship!"
“Nonsense! That’s impossible!” Hanova frowned, blocking Trian’s path. “Tell me! What exactly happened on the cruise ship?”
“No! Mr. Hanova, she’s not lying! There really are monsters on the cruise ship!” Canton swallowed hard. “The Ago has been attacked, and those strange tentacles are everywhere.”
Hanova's brow furrowed even deeper. "Tentacles? What attacked the cruise ship?"
Canton shook his head. "I don't know. I've never seen those things."
With a loud bang, something slammed against the top of the elevator. Hanova and his companion immediately pointed their guns upwards. "What happened?"
Trian shrugged. "That's why we can't stay in the elevator; there's something up there."
The thuds continued, and the elevator shook violently. Xia Linyin moved her fingers slightly and put the crescent-shaped blade on the ground into the mark on her wrist.
Suddenly, the elevator plummeted, and a feeling of weightlessness washed over everyone, causing them to scream out loud.
The elevator, which had plummeted to the bottom, shook violently, and the tightly closed elevator doors were jolted open with a "ding".
The elevator's alarm kept going off.
"Trian, you can let go of me now." Charlene patted Trian.
In the instant the elevator plummeted, Trian hugged her tightly, his high-decibel screams filling her ears.
It gave her the illusion that she was about to be strangled.
"Xia, are you alright?" Trian got up from Xia Linyin and reached out to pull her up from the cold ground.
"Ah!!" Canton's terrified scream suddenly rang out.
Canton, who had fallen out of the elevator, leaned against the wall, and when he turned his head, he saw a skeleton.
Two empty eye sockets stared straight at him, causing him to cry out in surprise.
Looking around, the corridor was filled with horrifying, bright red skeletons, making it impossible to find a place to step.
Bloodstains were visible on the smooth aluminum alloy wall panels on both sides, and the air was filled with a nauseating smell.
Xia Linyin stepped over a head covered in bright red flesh. These must have been bones spat out by the sea monster. In such a short time, the sea monster had eaten so many people. Now, there were probably only a few of them left on the cruise ship.
The heart-stopping crashing sound rang out again. The tightly closed steel door at the front of the corridor was slammed shut with a loud clang, and the hard walls on both sides were crushed and twisted, closing in on Xia Linyin and the others.
Hanova and his companions fired at the wall panel, leaving bullet holes in it.
Seeing the power of the submachine gun, John turned his gaze to the curly-haired man wearing a hat.
He walked over and snatched the gun from the curly-haired man's hand. The curly-haired man cried out, "No! You can't take my weapon!"
John tossed his pistol to the curly-haired man. "Shut up! One more word and I'll blow your brains out!"
The curly-haired man caught the pistol John threw to him. He looked at the gun in his hand, then at the menacing John, and suppressed his resentment. He optimistically thought that at least he still had a pistol.
With a loud crash, the steel door was smashed open, and five or six thick tentacles rushed in, roaring and opening their hideous maws.
With a crescent blade appearing in her hand, Charlene pulled Trian along, following closely behind Canton and the captain, while John fired his submachine gun at the tentacles from behind them.
Hanova held guns in both hands, veins bulging on his muscular arms, as he fired at the tentacles while retreating.
The gunfire was incredibly intense.
The captain stood in front of the electronic door, entering the password. Canton urged, "Hurry, hurry! They're catching up!"
"Almost there! Almost there!" The captain panted heavily, his fingers trembling so much that he could barely type in the password.
The moment the electronic door opened, Canton and the captain rushed inside.
The powerful firepower pushed the tentacles back a distance, and after everyone entered the electronic door, the captain closed it.
