“I want you to fill my water sac with the strongest liquor here, and oh, and a glass of sparkling water for my little Klein,” Rubis replied expertly.

“Alright, that'll be three gold coins in total.” Only then did the girl notice Yu Ling's face under the hood, and she immediately exclaimed in surprise, “Your daughter is absolutely gorgeous!”

"Thank you," Rubis said proudly.

It took Rubis a while to realize that this girl had such big, round eyes—how could they be father and daughter?! He was clearly unmarried; he didn't look that old at all!

Yu Ling refused the sparkling water and looked down on the narcissistic Rubis, watching as he turned and left after getting the drink.

The Blood Hunter is right beside me, and he's a retired priest. If things get really bad, I can just die. It's too difficult to recover on my own.

You can't expect to run into a snack like Alvin every now and then and have it fed to you, can you?

The water flowed through the stairs into the dark gold floor of the basement, which was engraved with vampire magic circles. As if controlled by someone, it flowed in a straight line until it covered the entire pattern, and then turned into steam in a flash of runes.

Just then, a handsome man with black hair and black eyes rose naked from the coffin-like object in the center. His features were three-dimensional, and his face, which looked like that of a mixed-race person, showed a sickly paleness, yet he always exuded a noble and elegant temperament.

As he slowly descended from the coffin, his perfect physique was on full display. His thin lips were pale as water, and his sharp teeth were being gently licked by a scarlet tongue.

Yu Ling was engrossed in watching when Rubis covered her eyes.

“My name is Klein. It’s nice to meet you, Eric.”

Eric was also dazzled by the cub-like appearance, and replied with a stiff expression, as if he had just woken up, "Hello, Klein."
