She's a thousand-year-old demon, either cultivating or on the path to cultivation. Facing a bottleneck in her cultivation, she decided to go out and relax, where she coincidentally met a system...
Ning Qing saw Bai Hao again at the dinner table.
The two sat facing each other. Ning Qing looked at his wife sitting opposite him, his eyes lit up, and he curled his lips into a smile.
I can never get enough of my own wife. I really want to take her home and hide her away, and hug her as much as I want.
Bai Hao felt the burning gaze from the other side, raised his eyes and glared at Ning Qing warningly, telling him to tone it down a bit.
No one at the dinner table is a fool; we can't let Mr. and Mrs. Bai discover even the slightest clue.
He couldn't imagine what it would be like if Bai's parents found out about their relationship.
Ning Qing saw his wife glaring at him fiercely, raised an eyebrow, and looked away. He knew he couldn't afford to offend his wife these days; he had to appease her and coax her to get any treats.
In order to be able to eat meat every day, Ning Qing decided that he would listen to his wife on everything from now on.
My wife is just too delicious; I can never get enough of her food.
After the meal, Bai Hao was seen walking towards the small garden.
Ning Qing quietly followed in her wheelchair.
Bai Hao heard the sound of wheels rolling behind him.
She turned around and glared at me, "Why are you following me?"
Ning Qing blinked innocently.
"I miss my wife after not seeing her for a day."
Bai Hao said angrily.
"We just met at noon, how come it's been a whole day?"
Ning Qing replied with a serious expression.
"A day apart feels like three autumns, and by that calculation, it's definitely been more than just a day."
After saying that, he nodded seriously.
He looked up and said, "Wife, I missed you."
Bai Hao was extremely agitated at this moment, and roared in a low voice.
"Don't yell like that. I'm not your wife, do you hear me?"
Ning Qing nodded.
"I heard you, wife."
Bai Hao glared at Ning Qing before turning and walking away.
Ning Qing naturally followed suit.
Bai Hao ignored the people following him and went straight to his room.
After he opened the door, quickly slipped inside, and swiftly closed it, he found he couldn't push the door open.
Looking up, I saw Ning Qing's hand blocking the doorway.
Bai Hao gritted his teeth and growled, "What exactly do you want?"
Ning Qing curled her lips into a smile.
"I want to go in."
Bai Hao coldly refused, "No."
Ning Qing raised an eyebrow, giving the impression that she would stay there and not leave if she wasn't allowed in.
After a brief stalemate, Bai Hao finally succumbed.
He turned and went inside. Ning Qing, seeing this, smiled and followed him in in her wheelchair.
She locked the door behind her and then took off her white boots.
She walked up behind Bai Hao and hugged him tightly from behind.
Bai Hao struggled at first, but Ning Qing's arms held him firmly like iron clamps.
Seeing that he couldn't break free, Bai Hao gave up struggling.
I asked a question weakly.
"What exactly do you want? Give me a straight answer."
Ning Qing's voice sounded softly behind him.
"Xiao Hao, do you really not like me?"
After a brief pause, it began to sound softly.
"If you really don't like me, just say the word and I'll disappear from your sight immediately and never appear again."
Bai Hao heard the deep disappointment in the voice and opened his mouth.
He just couldn't bring himself to say "I don't like it."
He calmed himself down and asked himself: Do I really not like him?
The answer is not necessarily.
He just... didn't know how to face this sudden and unexpected turn of events.
He just wanted to get away from him, to escape his burning gaze.
