Chapter 47

While the whole world was buzzing with excitement because of Qin Su, Qin Su lured Ye Yan away to go skiing.

Ye Yan was always restrained and rarely did anything so reckless, so he couldn't help feeling a little guilty.

When he arrived at the hotel in the ski city, he was still a little hesitant.

"Susu, isn't this a bit inappropriate?"

Qin Su lay in bed looking at the strategy guide and casually replied, "What's wrong with this?"

Ye Yan said, "After all, the company still has so many things to do, especially at such a critical juncture."

Qin Su said, "What's there to be afraid of? If it's something of utmost importance, they will definitely try their best to contact us. If they don't, it means they can handle it."

Ye Yan frowned: "But what if..."

"No, but what if?" Qin Su said emphatically. "If a company can't function properly without its boss, then there's something wrong with the company. You should give them some free rein and let them do what they want."

"Besides," Qin Su said, unleashing her trump card, "we're already here."

She said speechlessly, "We're both married, why are we asking for marriage?"

Qin Su was both amused and exasperated: "You actually believe this?"

Ye Yan glanced at her and said meaningfully, "I didn't believe it before."

Qin Su understood his implied meaning and couldn't help but laugh.

She pulled Ye Yan over and kissed him a few times: "Okay, let's go tomorrow."

Ye Yan was aroused by her kiss and wanted to hug her, but she pushed him away.

"I'm hungry," Qin Su said innocently. "I haven't eaten anything today except for the meal I had on the plane."

"..." The little devil ran away after teasing them, not caring whether they lived or died.

Ye Yan resignedly stood up: "Then I'll ask the waiter to bring the food up."

"No," Qin Su refused outright. "What good food is there at the hotel? I want to eat out."

Ye Yan had no objections and listened to her completely: "That's fine too."

So the two of them went to a highly-rated specialty restaurant for dinner, and by the time they came out, it was already dark.

The restaurant wasn't far from the hotel, so Qin Su took Ye Yan's arm and walked back.

This northern city is cold in winter and sparsely populated at night, with only the shops on both sides of the street still lit up with warm lights.

As Ye Yan passed by a digital store, he glanced at it out of the corner of his eye and suddenly stopped.

Qin Su followed his gaze but didn't see anything unusual: "What's wrong?"

Ye Yan said, "Wait for me a moment."

He turned and went into the store, picked up two items from the wall of digital accessories, paid, and came out.

Qin Su then realized what he had bought—a pair of couple phone cases.

The phone cases are red and blue.

The red back features a blue-eyed Ragdoll cat with its front paws resting on a section of reins, and the words "May wealth and fortune flourish" are written on its head.

The blue back features a small dog with a red leash around its neck and a simple "Woof!" above its head.

Ye Yan handed her the red one: "Does it look good?"

Qin Su paused for a moment, and the smile on her lips faded considerably.

But in just a moment, she smiled again: "Beautiful."

Without hesitation, she changed her phone case and waved it in front of Ye Yan.

Ye Yan curled his lips: "We'll replace it when it gets worn out."

He clearly liked them very much; even after returning to the hotel, he placed the two phones together to admire them.

"Stop looking and come here." Qin Su stood next to the cabinet, played with the remote control for a moment, then turned around and called to him, "I found some fun things."

Ye Yan: "What is that?"

Qin Su pointed the remote control towards the bathroom and pressed a button.

The frosted glass in the bathroom gradually became transparent, eventually becoming completely clear, and you could even see the shower head inside.

Ye Yan: "..."

What's going on? Isn't this a proper hotel? Why is it designed like this?

Qin Su hooked her finger around his and said with a grin, "Do you want to take a shower first? Or should I go first? I won't charge you admission."

Ye Yan: "..."

Qin Su hugged him and whispered, "Or should we shower together?"

Ye Yan had been teased by her too many times that day, and now he finally couldn't take it anymore.

He grabbed Qin Su's waist, preventing her from backing away: "Don't call 'stop' again this time."

Qin Su brushed her lips against his Adam's apple and said arrogantly, "Then you try it."

The sound of water soon filled the bathroom, and steam filled the glass, as if a layer of frost had been sprinkled on it.

The frost reflected blurry handprints, vaguely revealing a pair of overlapping hands.

Large hands are long and strong, while small hands are delicate and weak.

Her slender hand scratched the glass a few times, leaving obvious fingerprints, which were quickly covered by moisture. Her fingers, which were about to slip away, were grabbed back and pressed down tightly by her large hand.

The cat system plugged its ears and curled up in a ball, feeling wronged, in the cool breeze of the hotel corridor.

It let out a long sigh.
