"Stop talking nonsense."

Ji Yuan looked at the frenzied zombies not far away, his expression slightly lowered. His gaze swept over Jian Yihan, whose arm was slashed, and finally looked at the special forces soldiers who were holding guns but dared not shoot the zombies.

"What are you hesitating for?" Ji Yuan's voice was icy. "Kill it."

Jian Yihan, clutching his bleeding arm, reminded him, "Professor Ji, this is the last surviving zombie in Room 5."

Ji Yuan paused slightly.

If this zombie dies, we'll have to go out and catch another one, which will be even more dangerous than this one.

She didn't have time to think at all. Although she was terrified, she still stood in front of Ji Yuan without hesitation.

Ji Yuan paused in his action of shooting the zombie. He narrowed his eyes and was about to pull Nan Zhi away from him.

The handcuffs, which were originally so strong that even bullets could not easily break them, were snapped in an instant by her. She grabbed the zombie and then threw it to the ground with an over-the-shoulder throw.

She pressed its head to the ground and stomped on it hard, yelling, "Don't you dare bully the professor! I won't allow it! Do you hear me?"

The zombie was still howling, trying to resist.

Nanzhi became even angrier.

She clenched her fist and punched it repeatedly on the head, yelling, "You dare talk back? I'll teach you to talk back! I'll beat you to death, beat you to death..."

So everyone just watched as she swung her fists and punched the zombie's head.

Even though she was only half the size of that zombie, she managed to beat it so badly that its head was smashed open and it was lifeless.

He put the gun away, his eyes darkening slightly. "Come here."

Nanzhi didn't look at him. "It's not dead yet. I'm going to kill it."

Ji Yuan watched her change in expression and gave Zhang Lu a cold glare.

"Shut up!"

Zhang Lu was startled by his cold gaze.

Her suggestion was clearly not wrong, and it was even for his sake, out of concern for him and to prevent him from getting hurt, yet he still protected this despicable zombie.

Zhang Lu pursed her lips and stood aside, looking at Nan Zhi with hatred in her eyes.

When the aluminum can was mentioned, Jian Yihan looked at Ji Yuan apologetically, "Professor Ji, I accidentally bumped into the aluminum can and it rolled down next to her. She didn't do it on purpose."

With Jian Yihan's explanation, everyone's opinions about Nanzhi lessened considerably.

Zhang Lu gave Jian Yihan a dissatisfied look.

Is this guy just helping Nan Zhi because she's pretty?

In this base, who should he side with? Doesn't he have any sense of propriety at all?

Jian Yihan noticed Zhang Lu's gaze, but he didn't react. Instead, he apologized to Nan Zhi, "I'm sorry, I almost caused you to be misunderstood."

She was quite polite, and Nanzhi smiled at him in a friendly manner.

Ji Yuan glanced at her discreetly before turning to Jian Yihan, "How did you get this wound?"
