Hu Shih simply couldn't believe it. "And who arranged for her to be transferred to another hospital?"

"Also, didn't you say the area downstairs was completely blocked? How will the car get out if we want to transfer patients?"

The series of questions left the nurse somewhat bewildered.

"This is not within my control."

Chi Xiuwen frowned: "Who arranged her transfer to another hospital? Can you tell us?"

"This is a matter of patient privacy, and we cannot disclose it."

Lu Mingxu said impatiently, "I'm her boyfriend, why can't you tell me?"

The nurse could only continue, "I'm sorry, this is a matter of patient privacy."

Hu Shi tugged at Lu Mingxu, "Alright, stop fooling around, let's go back to our rooms."

Hu Shih's mind was probably starting to work out at this point.

Chi Xiuwen grabbed Lu Mingxu's other arm and dragged him back to Hu Shi's ward.

"I guess it was Xie Cinian who did it."

Lu Mingxu was furious. "That bastard, what is he trying to do?"

"Pei Zhi already signed the divorce agreement with him, so why did he take Pei Zhi away?"

After Chi Xiuwen learned that Xie Cinian had taken the person away, he was no longer in a hurry and pulled out a chair to sit down.

Hu Shi silently took two steps back.
