When Pei Zhi came out, she saw the three of them fighting together.

Pei Zhi paused for a moment, then pretended not to see anything, opened the refrigerator, and took out a bottle of ice water.

Pei Zhi had just finished applying skincare products, and her hands were still covered in serum, so she hadn't even unscrewed the cap yet.

Xie Cinian came over, turned on the water for Pei Zhi, and handed it to her.

Chi Xiuwen, however, took the water from Xie Cinian's hand first.

"Drink less ice water, it's bad for your health."

After saying that, Chi Xiuwen went to get a glass of warm water and handed it to Pei Zhi.

"Would you like me to heat up a glass of milk for you? It might help you sleep."

Pei Zhi shook her head, "I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow these days, so I'd better not drink milk, lest I can't wake up tomorrow."

Lu Mingxu had just taken two punches and was now lying on the sofa, unable to get up for a long time.

Pei Zhi drank the water, and Chi Xiuwen took the cup from her.

Pei Zhi thought for a moment and said, "Although I know you've all been in a bad mood lately, don't take it out on Lu Mingxu."

Just as Chi Xiuwen was about to explain, Pei Zhi interrupted him.

"He doesn't look very bright. If we really beat him senseless, wouldn't that be the end of us?"

Upon hearing this, Lu Mingxu immediately protested, "What do you mean?"

"One has stomach cancer, the other has brain cancer. I think you're mentally disabled."

Using such a blatantly perfunctory excuse to deceive Pei Zhi is just ridiculous.

Pei Zhi was simply too lazy to expose Lu Mingxu.

"Also, don't joke about other people's bodies in the future; that's not right."

Seeing Lu Mingxu being scolded by Pei Zhi, Xie Cinian and Chi Xiuwen felt relieved.

Lu Mingxu snorted in dissatisfaction and lay on the sofa groaning.

Pei Zhi ignored him and turned to go back to her room to sleep.

"No, Zhizhi actually knew I was lying, so why was she still willing to go abroad with us?"

Chi Xiuwen pondered for a moment, "Perhaps, staying in the country is too boring, and I'd like to travel abroad?"

The others weren't too curious; Pei Zhi's examination was the priority.

Chi Xiuwen asked Xie Cinian, "That's your territory over there, is everything arranged?"

"Don't worry, there won't be any problems."

Chi Xiuwen agreed. Although Xie Cinian was a difficult person to deal with, he was reliable.

The following day, the group boarded a private plane, preparing to fly abroad.

Upon landing, a car was waiting outside the airport, and Xie Ci gave the hotel address.

Lu Mingxu muttered, "Why do we still need to stay in a hotel when we're already on Xie Cinian's territory?"

Chi Xiuwen and Lu Mingxu were in one car, while Xie Cinian and Pei Zhi were in another.

Chi Xiuwen and Lu Mingxu's car was in front, while Xie Cinian's car was originally following behind.

At just one traffic light, the cars behind stopped following.

Lu Mingxu kept looking back: "Wait, why haven't they caught up yet?"

Chi Xiuwen glanced at it briefly and immediately understood what was going on.

"Haven't you figured it out yet? We stayed at a hotel, and Xie Cinian took Pei Zhi back to the Xie residence."

Lu Mingxu was stunned for a moment, "Holy crap?"

"Is Xie Cinian this dirty?"

"They used us and then just threw us away?"

They're such bastards. Back in the country, they eat at the same table.

They discussed together how to take Pei Zhi abroad for a medical check-up.

As a result, Xie Cinian abandoned them as soon as they landed.

"Never mind, we'll just meet at the hospital tomorrow anyway."

At worst, Xie Cinian will be able to spend time alone with Pei Zhi tonight.

Lu Mingxu said anxiously, "That's not how it's said."

Xie Cinian took Pei Zhi back to the Xie residence, the place where they had lived for two years.

What if Pei Zhi is overcome with emotion by the sight of this place, and then that bastard Xie Cinian...

What if they end up doing something good?

Chi Xiuwen was originally quite calm, but after Lu Mingxu said that, he frowned.

Chi Xiuwen tried to reassure Lu Mingxu: "If Xie Cinian could really win Pei Zhi's heart, then the two of us wouldn't exist."

"Then don't forget, Xie Cinian is Pei Zhi's ex-husband, the only one with a formal title, and that title was only for two years."

Lu Mingxu has never admitted that he is jealous of Xie Cinian.

Because Xie Ci Nian openly and legitimately possessed Pei Zhi.

Even after divorcing Pei Zhi, Xie Cinian can still refer to Pei Zhi as his ex-wife.

And what about him and Chi Xiuwen?

Can the two of them say that Pei Zhi is their girlfriend?

No, because Pei Zhi was with them at the time, and she hadn't divorced her husband.

To be honest, he was Chi Xiuwen's mistress, or even his fourth mistress.

Chi Xiuwen, unlike what Lu Mingxu had said, was in a bad mood: "Stop thinking about these nonsense things."

"Instead of wasting your time, you should think more about how to improve your health and make yourself feel young again."

"That way, Zhizhi can take a few more glances at you."

Lu Mingxu couldn't tolerate Chi Xiuwen resorting to personal attacks.

"Yes, I can still work on my figure, but as for you, you can only work on your cooking skills."

Lu Mingxu said sarcastically, "After all, you don't have a good figure right now."

"What, are you going to stay at a hotel now? You don't need to stay at my place anymore, so our alliance doesn't count anymore, right?"

Lu Mingxu hesitated for a moment, then softened his tone, "You stabbed me first."

Chi Xiuwen knew that Lu Mingxu was a hothead, so he didn't say anything more sarcastic.
