Lin Zhenzhen watched helplessly as the swaggering little monster withered away at a visible speed, like a burst balloon.

"Thump, thump."

The scene was so quiet that only Lin Zhenzhen's still-beating heartbeat could be heard.

She seemed stunned, staring blankly at the boot with dark red lace trim.

The man's voice was cold and gloomy, carrying a chilling ruthlessness.

"You're not qualified to eat her."

Lin Zhenzhen's heart skipped a beat, and a classic domineering CEO quote suddenly popped into her mind: Damn it! Don't you even know whose woman she is? How dare you lay a hand on her?

A sudden burst of laughter made her cheeks puff out. Lin Zhenzhen could only stiffen her neck and keep her eyes fixed on the ground.

Yan Feichen, however, did not speak, like a silent ice sculpture. Although he was silent, the cold aura emanating from him was impossible to ignore.

A gentle breeze blew by, pushing the thick white fog a few inches closer to the two of them.

Immediately following the spot where the baby monster had just fallen, a soft crunching sound came from, like something being chewed.

She knew it! There was definitely something in that fog!

Sensing Lin Zhenzhen's stunned expression, Yan Feichen sneered and said coldly, "Now you know fear?"

Lin Zhenzhen turned her head and saw his sharp and resolute profile, as if carved by a knife.

This man is so amazing; his features are exquisite and beautiful, yet his overall appearance carries a chilling, murderous aura.

Two completely different styles appeared on one face and blended perfectly, making him look refined yet not weak.

"Oh."

Yan Feichen turned his head, his pupils turning a bloodthirsty dark red.

"You've been staring at me for so long. Is it because we haven't seen each other in so long that you don't recognize me?"

Lin Zhenzhen was taken aback, then lowered her head: "No."

"Not what?"

"Are you not afraid? Or...?" Yan Feichen moved closer, his dangerously hot breath hitting Lin Zhenzhen's head. "You haven't forgotten who I am?"

In just over ten days, Yan Feichen's aura became increasingly dark and cold.

It turns out that just five points of aversion could cause such a big change in his attitude towards me.

What will happen when the level of disgust reaches its maximum? Will they just send her on her way?

I'm tired and numb.

Lin Zhenzhen shook her head indifferently: "Just pretend none of them are true."

These words clearly angered Yan Feichen again, and his back teeth ground together with a faint sound: "It seems that you no longer even bother to appease me."

Lin Zhenzhen lowered her head even further, which Yan Feichen interpreted as a sign of her guilty conscience and acquiescence.

"Okay, very good." That's how she treats him—indifferent and aloof—while she's gentle, obedient, and all smiles when facing other men.

Yan Feichen was so jealous he was almost going crazy: "It seems that if I don't do something, I'll really be letting you down."

He grabbed Lin Zhenzhen's shoulder, grabbed her chin without a second thought, and bit her pink lips.

It was a bite, a real bite.

Lin Zhenzhen could even feel his sharp canine teeth grinding heavily across her lips.

It is utterly chaotic, devoid of any aesthetic appeal, and offers absolutely no enjoyment.

While enduring this torture-like torment, Lin Zhenzhen vaguely reminisced about her soft and cute little apprentice from back then.

Suddenly, someone pinched my waist hard.

Yan Feichen's voice, squeezed out through clenched teeth, was both angry and urgent: "Who are you thinking about?"

Lin Zhenzhen glared at him fiercely, silently replying in her heart: Missing the puppy! Hehehe!

Yan Feichen intensified the destruction, and Lin Zhenzhen felt her lips were numb and painful.

Finally, she seized an opportunity and bit down hard on the tongue that was wreaking havoc in her mouth.

Yan Feichen winced in pain and slightly loosened his grip on her.

Lin Zhenzhen took the opportunity to slip out of his arms.

She frowned and rubbed her lips vigorously with the back of her hand.

Ouch, this little wolf cub has bitten my lips so many times.

Watching Lin Zhenzhen wipe her mouth, a fleeting look of melancholy crossed Yan Feichen's eyes.

But he quickly curled his lips into a provocative smile: "It's not like it's your first time kissing someone, so it doesn't really matter, right?"

Lin Zhenzhen paused in her movements, then raised her eyes, her expression calm and composed.

"You're right, there's really nothing to worry about."

Upon hearing her answer, Yan Feichen's smile froze, replaced by layers of annoyance and jealousy.

Lin Zhenzhen straightened her clothes, her eyes indifferent: "What are you doing here?"

Yan Feichen stared at her for a long time before letting out a sneer: "I've come out of the Ten Thousand Bottom Demon Cave. You're disappointed, aren't you?"

"Are you afraid I'll come back and bring up old grievances?"

"Are you still worried that I'll interfere with your flirting with other men?"

Yan Feichen's throat suddenly felt a little dry, but he quickly adjusted himself, raised his chin, and unrestrainedly displayed his most aggressive side.

"I'm sorry, I'm very busy and don't have time to keep track of your whereabouts."

Oh. They simply don't have time to care about my whereabouts.

It means that I should send a moth to follow me around all day and keep an eye on me.

They rushed to my rescue the moment I was in danger.

Even though I mistook her for someone else and was so angry I was about to vomit blood, I still chose not to expose her and pretended that this was the first time the two of them had met in many years.

Lin Zhenzhen mentally calculated the reasons, finding it both amusing and slightly heartbreaking.
