"Ah Xuan, aren't you going to eat them for Shu Shu?" Mother Shen asked with concern as she watched him break open several salted duck eggs.

"It's too salty," Xue Xuan said matter-of-factly.

"But it's such a waste," Mother Shen said, feeling a pang of regret.

"Give them some." Xue Xuan pointed to the expressionless, cold-blooded, and murderous bodyguards behind him, and reached out to wipe the porridge from Shen Wangshu's mouth.

Mother Shen remained silent for a moment, looked up at the bodyguards who were also having a hard time, and nodded.

Very good, that's very much like Master Xue.

Shen Wangshu felt that Ah Xuan would always be much more lively than before if he were by her side.

She held Ah Xuan's fingers, smiling contentedly—or perhaps it was the satisfaction of eating so many egg yolks.

With a wave of his hand, he ordered all the rough stones in the storeroom to be moved away, and then brought in a large number of finished jade stones of various colors, piling them in front of Shen Wangshu.
