Please collect my column~~~~~ Behind every passionate and earth-shattering love story, there are countless cannon fodders.
Shen Wangshu, who has been transmigrating into cannon fodder in ever...
"Refuse?" The cheerful old man was suddenly speechless.
He seemed somewhat unsure how to respond to this answer. He glanced back at the handsome young man beside him, who looked slightly surprised, then looked at Shen Wangshu with a bewildered expression. He moved his lips, and after a long while, he finally found his voice, murmuring, "Daoist Master, this is the most talented disciple our Guangming Sect can recruit." He paused, then tentatively asked, "Won't you reconsider?"
His white-bearded face looked pitiful as he gazed expectantly at the high seat on the cloud platform, gazing at Chen Wangshu with a nonchalant expression.
His actions made Shen Wangshu the focus of everyone's attention.
"His aptitude is indeed excellent." Shen Wangshu's voice was cold and indifferent, like the unpredictable clouds in the sky.
She looked down at the several young men and women kneeling before her and said expressionlessly, "Since they have such good aptitude, of course I shouldn't compete with my senior brothers and sisters for this outstanding disciple."
Several cultivators of varying ages were sitting around her, and they all showed slight surprise upon hearing her words.
Clearly, the woman Shen Wangshu is now playing is not someone who would consider others.
"I know that Senior Brother Headmaster means well for me, but I have no intention of taking on any disciples." Shen Wangshu looked at the boy below with his head down and an unreadable expression, and said slowly, "This disciple has extraordinary talent. He will receive careful guidance from whichever fellow disciple he is placed under."
She withdrew her indifferent and cold gaze, no longer looking at the disciple below, dressed in brocade robes and carrying a long sword surrounded by spiritual light. It was as if his unparalleled talent was not worth mentioning in her eyes. She leaned back in her throne and stopped speaking, instead thinking about her previous life amidst the leisurely tolling of the bell.
Later on, Ah Xuan became a top-tier zombie capable of suppressing countless other zombies.
He regained his senses and his speech, and lived with Shen Wangshu ever since.
Although Song Lei is a bit dim-witted and has a strong sense of heroism, he is a trustworthy person. For some unknown reason, or perhaps out of fear of angering Ah Xuan and causing irreparable consequences, he concealed the secret that Ah Xuan was a zombie.
The survivors in the base all regarded Ah Xuan as their most admired person and as a hero.
She and Ah Xuan had a grand wedding; she married him and became his well-known wife.
The only downside of Ah Xuan being a zombie is that he can't be romantic. However, Xuan Wang is a very resourceful zombie. He's quite clever; he blocked Song Lei's threat of "I'll eat you!" and instead fiercely ordered him to develop a thick, unbreakable sheath. He also painstakingly brought a lot of equipment from the city to work together on this rare invention. To prevent all of humanity from being eaten by insatiable zombies, Song Lei compromised.
He personally urged the researchers at the base to develop a very tough sheath.
From then on, the zombie lived a happy married life and decided to temporarily stop eating the humans she hated.
Under his oppressive aura, most of the zombies moved away from the base.
Shen Wangshu made indelible contributions to human survival.
She lived with Ah Xuan all her life, seeing off Ning's parents who comforted their daughter with the thought of having someone to accompany her throughout her life, watching Nan Lan finally marry Ah Guang, and watching Ah Tu happily marry a lovely and clever young girl. They lived together, and they were very happy. Ah Xuan didn't age, and Shen Wangshu, perhaps due to her water-based supernatural abilities, also aged very slowly.
As she peacefully closed her eyes, her youth seemed to stand still at its peak. The only thing she knew afterward was that Ah Xuan carried her away from the survivor base where she had lived for decades.
He carried her back to the place where they met, and then they fell asleep together forever.
He pierced his own skull, destroying the true life core of the immortal zombie.
Thinking of the final moments, when Ah Xuan hugged her and let out a soft scream, as if he was still being affectionate with her, Shen Wangshu silently lowered her eyes.
She subconsciously looked at the small gold lock on her wrist.
She was becoming increasingly hesitant to linger in the golden space and was becoming more and more eager to travel to various worlds, because she knew that Ah Xuan was definitely waiting for her.
The golden space that once allowed her to linger and rest had long since faded from her memory. The books had burned away, leaving only the trace of Ah Xuan, which shone even brighter. She didn't want to be alone in that golden space, facing loneliness, so she came to the next world so quickly, always wanting to see Ah Xuan as soon as possible and be with him.
"Daoist Master!" Just as she was filled with anticipation, the clear voice of a young man came fearlessly from below.
Shen Wangshu calmly opened her eyes and looked down, only to see the boy she had rejected standing up, looking at her with high spirits.
"Why won't the Daoist Master accept me as his disciple?!" he shouted, demanding an explanation.
Because he was a person with boundless vigor and never backed down.
Shen Wangshu had no interest in the young man whatsoever and coldly withdrew her gaze.
"No manners," she said coldly.
"Never mind, junior sister," a smiling young man in fine clothes opened his folding fan with a flourish, seemingly unconcerned about the bone-chilling cold above, and elegantly fanned himself with a smile, saying, "Considering that he has a Chaos Spirit Body and unparalleled genius talent, you should be more understanding, shouldn't you?"
He looked at the young man with interest through his narrow eyes, but said with a strange smile, "He is indeed unruly, making a scene in public and interrogating the sect elders, which is very bad. Never mind," he closed his folding fan, rested his chin on his hand, and smiled, "I will not compete with you all for this disciple."
