Please collect my column~~~~~ Behind every passionate and earth-shattering love story, there are countless cannon fodders.
Shen Wangshu, who has been transmigrating into cannon fodder in ever...
She is far inferior to Xiwu Daojun.
"Alright, you can leave now." Seeing that Fairy Red Moon was still unconvinced, the sect leader of Guangming Sect felt utterly exhausted. He sighed inwardly, feeling as if there was no way out, and the oppressive atmosphere of the sect was suffocating him.
He waved for Fairy Red Moon to leave, but just as he did, Shen Wangshu calmly walked in, carrying a fox. Even though she had witnessed such a fierce argument, the woman's beautiful face remained expressionless. It was the fox in her arms that showed cold anger in its eyes, nestled in Shen Wangshu's arms, staring intently at Fairy Red Moon.
The Red Moon Fairy, a dignified Nascent Soul cultivator, felt a chill run down her spine from the gaze of a fox.
A sense of unease arose in her heart. She moved her lips slightly, but then looked at Shen Wangshu coldly with pursed lips.
As a fellow female cultivator, she felt inferior to Ling Xiao in every way, both within the sect and outside, and thus harbored deep resentment towards him.
"I heard there was trouble at the Sect Leader's place, so I came to take a look," Shen Wangshu said calmly, sitting next to the Sect Leader of Guangming Sect.
She glanced at the Red Moon Fairy with indifferent eyes, then ignored her without a second thought.
Such arrogance was even more insulting than an open rebuke, and it immediately made the beautiful female cultivator opposite her blush.
She was also a great cultivator, one of the most powerful figures in the cultivation world, yet she was forever inferior to Daoist Lingxiao. Just like with accepting disciples, only those Daoist Lingxiao rejected would be considered for her. This was a thorn in Fairy Red Moon's heart for who knows how long. If it weren't for this, she wouldn't have made such a scene after Yue Xizhi was punished by Shen Wangshu. She enjoyed watching Daoist Lingxiao stand alone and helpless, with the help of her fellow disciples.
Even though she did so much for the sect, she was never the one who was liked by anyone in the sect.
"Lingxiao!"
"I'm speaking with the sect leader, what business is it of yours? Get out!" Shen Wangshu pointed to the entrance of the main hall.
"you!"
The Crimson Moon Fairy was already furious, but when she saw Shen Wangshu looking at her coldly, his eyes gleaming with icy killing intent, and his hands flashing with spiritual light, she immediately felt a chill. She took a step back, a crimson flame flashing beneath her feet to protect herself, but the oppressive flames whimpered and vanished amidst the gradually freezing atmosphere of the palace.
The entire hall was covered with a layer of snow-white frost. Half of the Red Moon Fairy's face suddenly shattered, dripping with blood. Yue Xizhi groaned and knelt on the ground, half of his body already turned into an ice statue.
Despite facing a life-or-death situation, he managed to look at Shen Wangshu, who sat calmly and composedly, without even blinking, with eyes full of surprise.
A powerful figure who can suppress all cultivators with a mere gesture should be one's teacher.
"Xi Zhi!" Seeing his pale face, the Red Moon Fairy realized that he had clearly damaged his Dao foundation in just a few breaths, and hurriedly stepped forward to protect him.
Ignoring the excruciating pain in her own face, she stuffed a fiery red elixir into Yue Xizhi's mouth. Only after seeing his complexion regain its color and the frostiness fade did she finally exhale.
"How cruel you are!" she shouted angrily, turning around and pointing at Shen Wangshu.
Frost swirled between Shen Wangshu's fingers. She looked up at the top of the sky where countless stars gathered, and said coldly, "If you don't leave now, you're not going anywhere."
She wasn't joking. She abruptly raised her eyes and coldly stared at Fairy Red Moon. A chilling aura emanated from her, and in an instant, a powerful burst of spiritual energy forced Fairy Red Moon to her knees. It was as if she were paying homage to Shen Wangshu, who trembled, finally realizing how insignificant she was before a Nascent Soul cultivator, and dared not utter a word. Her silence only deepened Yue Xizhi's disappointment. The young man, still prostrate on the ground, regulated his breathing and looked up at the white-clad woman in the eye of the storm.
"Please, Daoist Master, accept me as your disciple!" he shouted.
To show his sincerity, the handsome young man solemnly kowtowed to Shen Wangshu.
"Xi Zhi?!" Fairy Red Moon never imagined that her beloved disciple would say such a thing. Her eyes widened in disbelief.
From the moment Yue Xizhi became her disciple, she had always cherished and protected him.
Although she had many flaws—being domineering and arrogant, and at odds with Shen Wangshu—she genuinely loved Yue Xizhi. She regarded him as her successor and wanted to pass on all her knowledge of Daoist arts to this young man.
How many fellow disciples did she offend for him? Shamelessly begging for treasures from her fellow disciples, wasn't she ashamed? She was such a proud and arrogant person, yet she gave up everything for Yue Xizhi, just so that her disciple could grow up safely. But now, what did this beloved disciple say to her?
He didn't even glance at her before wanting to become someone else's disciple?
How can someone be like this?!
"You traitorous disciple!" Fairy Red Moon came to seek justice for Yue Xizhi today, but she never expected that her sincere heart would be wasted on such an ingrate. She was so angry that tears welled up in her eyes, and her wounds became even more grotesque.
Yue Xizhi turned his head, glanced at her with a guilty look, and then became resolute again.
Although his cultivation was still shallow, he knew that having a good master was the most important thing. He still had many years of cultivation to go in the sect. Did he really expect Fairy Red Moon to have to shamelessly beg others for all the resources he needed?
In such a short time, he had already caused Red Moon Fairy to complain and be secretly ridiculed or antagonized. This was because the spiritual pills and magical treasures that Red Moon Fairy's fellow disciples were meant to use to train their own disciples had been snatched away by him. How could those equally proud disciples not have grievances in their hearts?
He didn't want to live like that.
