She herself had fallen to outside the top ten, a very unfavorable situation. Xiang Wan started by challenging those ranked one place higher than her, excluding those who weren't online.

On the PK leaderboard, the higher the ranking, the higher the character's level. The number one player is almost at the level cap of 70, so few people challenge them. Xiang Wan's assassin is nearly level 55, leveled up through casual PK battles and monster hunting, but it's not considered very high on the leaderboard; there are plenty of players with higher levels. However, she's not afraid of being outclassed by others in terms of level. She simply has more experience points, more health, and higher defense. If she encounters a tough opponent and the fight drags on, as long as she moves carefully, she'll generally avoid getting hit.

Xiang Wan spent the entire night working tirelessly, finally climbing to second place by winning both money and experience. Looking up at the sky, she saw the first light of dawn and her body was protesting that she needed to rest. What?! This number one player is acting strangely, logging in at dawn. Most people who play games all night are resting at this time. People who treat games as entertainment wouldn't choose to log in at daybreak, especially since most people have to go to work. Who has the time to waste on games?

Xiang Wan was excited and decided to meet this elusive, number one ranked guy. She sent him a challenge letter. Soon after, she received a reply, inviting him to a duel on the challenge platform.

Xiang Wan was exasperated. What was supposed to be a simple challenge was turning into a TV drama with bullet comments. Wasn't this supposed to be a fun game?

After muting the world chat channel, Xiang Wan called out from in front of the challenge platform: "Make way, make way, or the challenge will be canceled."

"Who are you? Don't you know about first come, first served?"

"Don't keep me from watching the expert, go to the back of the line."

"These days, even game characters want to cut in line. The world is going to the dogs."

Even worse, some people saw Xiang Wan pushing forward and immediately started cursing.

Xiang Wan was speechless. She had originally planned to let people watch the PK competition for free, but now she had decided to charge ten times the viewing fee! Did they really think she had no temper?

He removed the anonymity from the name above his head, added color-changing effects, and stood in front of those people, instantly silencing them.

"Make way, or the challenge will be canceled."

The same words that didn't work before are now proving effective immediately. The onlookers dispersed to both sides, making way for them.

Xiang Wan could easily guess that nothing nice would come out, so she decided to pretend she didn't hear it to avoid affecting her mood.

No matter how slow she was, she had already taken all the steps towards the challenge platform. Standing at the entrance of the challenge platform, Xiang Wan turned around and waved. Even if she couldn't be a star, she had to have the demeanor of one! Pretending not to see the group of people turning their heads away, Xiang Wan handed the challenge letter to the NPC on the challenge platform and requested that it be added to the blackout area. Spectators would have to pay a viewing fee, so she stood on the platform and waited.

Before long, the crowd surged to both sides, revealing a wide avenue. A person dressed in pure white rushed from the end of the avenue and stood in front of Xiang Wan in a flash.

Xiang Wan's lips twitched. If he couldn't come, couldn't he just cancel the PK? Sending someone specifically for him—they really thought too highly of her. However, Xiang Wan still accepted the challenge of the last-minute replacement; after all, his last two words had pissed her off—it wasn't like she was asking for sex.

Xiang Wan was determined to finish the battle quickly, so she launched a fierce attack right from the start, going as far as she could in terms of brutality.

This incredibly handsome character is an illusionist, and only this character is always dressed in white, appearing elegant but actually extremely lewd. If he encounters a female player, he'll most likely transform into a dashing young gentleman, conjuring up a romantic scene, spouting endless sweet nothings, and then, taking advantage of the female player's momentary lapse in attention, deliver a fatal blow—utterly despicable. Unfortunately, Xiang Wan was playing a male character, and when the opponent transformed into a beautiful woman, she showed no mercy, dealing with him just as she always had. She forced the opponent into a corner, forcing him to exchange blows with her.
