A certain woman, for some inexplicable reason, became bound to an arrogant and deceptive system. She transmigrates into the bodies of cannon fodder characters in various worlds, fulfilling their wi...
"Qinghua, once we're inside, kill her!"
Holding a flower branch, Qinghua seemed to still hear the voice transmission from her Grandmaster Yuehua when the flower flew into her mouth.
She stared intently at the surrounding mist, watching the figure weave through it, the flower bud in her hand about to bloom, yet making no move.
She was waiting for the right moment, the perfect moment to strike.
If Xiang Wan were here, she would be very surprised, because the figure in the mist looked exactly like her.
"Giggle!"
A burst of laughter approached from afar. Without hesitation, Qinghua waved her flower branch and used her spiritual power to propel the petals toward the source of the sound.
The laughter stopped abruptly, but her petals could not be retrieved.
"No matter what your abilities are, if you meet me today, you won't leave alive. Swarm and slay!"
Qinghua's aura surged, and petals formed from flames flew into the mist. The brightness of the firelight instantly pierced through the mist, illuminating an area of about a mile.
A tall figure appeared before her, his eyes gleaming with an eerie light, like will-o'-the-wisps. He was about three zhang tall and covered in gray fur. He stared fixedly at Qinghua.
Just as Qinghua was about to step forward, suddenly one after another, the dim lights around them lit up.
She looked around and saw that she was surrounded by these monsters.
The monsters inhaled sharply, absorbing all the mist into their bellies, and then began to wriggle forward.
One of them was muttering something, and its tone and voice were exactly the same as Qinghua's: "No matter what your abilities are, if you meet me today, don't even think about leaving alive."
Qinghua's expression was solemn, and spiritual energy overflowed from his fingertips, flowing into the flower branch in his hand.
The flower branch quickly grew to a length of ten feet and shot towards the open-mouthed monster.
The monster opened its mouth and exhaled a breath of white air. Then all the monsters stood up, becoming three times taller than before.
"Don't even think about leaving here alive!"
Each monster spoke human language and surrounded Qinghua, the encirclement growing smaller and smaller.
With a strange expression, Qinghua leaped into the air and threw a handful of lightning talismans at the monsters.
A series of crackling sounds rang out, but the monsters seemed unfazed and instead became enraged, leaping up and stretching out claws longer than their bodies to reach for the blue flower.
Qinghua was caught off guard and nearly got caught. She pulled out her flying sword and slashed at the arms, but only managed to cut some of the skin. Instead, she consumed a lot of her spiritual energy.
"These monsters are difficult to deal with, escaping is the priority." Qinghua made a quick decision, accelerated the circulation of her spiritual energy, spotted an opening in the air, and fled forward.
The monster was hot on her heels.
"Tan Ke, did you hear anything?" After entering the ruins of the divine relic, Lan Sishi soon met Tan Ke and they traveled together to a forest.
Tan Ke shook his head and walked beside him, sword in hand.
"Kill him! He's not human!"
"Lin Guang, don't talk nonsense!"
"He can't even shout out our sect's slogan. What else could he be but an oddball?"
"You've bullied me a lot in the sect because you're favored by your master. Now that we're here, you've become unscrupulous and want to kill me. Come on, I'm not afraid of you."
"Look at him, someone who's usually so timid and wouldn't even dare to breathe loudly has become like this today. What else could he be but an anomaly?"
"Senior Brother Lin, what if we've mistaken someone else for someone else?"
"Why don't you try and see?"
A group of people dressed identically drew their swords and faced each other in the woods.
Lan Sishiba didn't want to get involved, but Tan Ke had already shown his figure first, attracting the attention of those people, so he had no choice but to come out as well.
"Everyone, what happened?"
"Senior Brother Lin, they are disciples of Sui Xushan," a female cultivator whispered a reminder.
A young man with a gloomy face said, "Gentlemen, we are dealing with internal sect affairs, please do not interfere."
As soon as he finished speaking, the young man they were targeting turned around and cupped his hands, saying, "Senior brothers, we are from the same sect, but we don't usually get along. They want to take this opportunity to kill me. Please save my life, I would be extremely grateful."
As soon as the young man finished speaking, the faces of those around him immediately turned ugly.
Putting aside whether they really wanted to kill him, now they are slandering their fellow disciples in front of outsiders and asking outsiders for help. If this gets out, where will they put their face?
Lan Sishi's expression was also not good. He didn't want to get involved in other people's sect disputes, but he just happened to run into them.
She glanced at Tan Ke and saw that he was silent, so she knew that she had to make the decision herself now.
"When you're out and about, it's best to put aside personal grudges for now and deal with them when you get back. This place is fraught with danger and disunity will cause you trouble."
He's an outsider after all. Giving him a suggestion is a favor, not helping is his right. Who can force him to save someone?
After saying that, he tried to pull Tan Ke away, but then he saw Tan Ke stand in front of the surrounded youth and ask, "Come with me, or go with them?"
The young man was taken aback for a moment, then immediately nodded, "Of course I'll go with my senior brother."
The others dared not speak out in anger, and could only watch helplessly as the three disappeared before their eyes.
"Senior Brother Lin, let's go too," the female cultivator whispered, urging.
"Hmph!" Lin Guang turned his head and headed in the opposite direction from Lan Forty-Eight and the others.
Lan Sishiba felt uneasy because he felt that his friend seemed to have changed, but he was hesitant to ask because there were outsiders present.
When they reached a stream, the young man went to catch fish in the river. Lan Sishi pulled Tan Ke aside and asked in a low voice, "Tan Ke, how could you just recruit someone like that? We don't even know his character or personality. What if he really is an outcast who has infiltrated the group?"
