Chapter 109 The Cannon Fodder Prisoner's Case Solving Diary 24

The next day, Suiyi arrived at the police station early. When she opened the door, she saw only Leng Tianyi sitting in a chair resting. She frowned and walked over.

Seeing the worry on his face, Suiyi reached out and touched him a few times. The man's brows relaxed, and he fell into a deep sleep.

Sui Yi found a piece of clothing to cover him, then went to the bookshelf to look for documents, hoping to find similar case files and some inspiration.

Half an hour later, someone finally arrived. Chenchen saw that her boss was sleeping, so she tiptoed to her seat. Looking at Suiyi next to her, she lowered her voice and spoke.

"How long have you been here?"

"Half an hour."

"The boss must have been busy all night again."

"Maybe!" After saying that, Suiyi turned her gaze to the book, and Chenchen also began to busy herself with her own things.

An hour later, when everyone had arrived, Leng Tianyi slowly woke up. He pressed his brow to clear his head, and when he opened his eyes, he was startled to see the clothes covering him. He looked up at the others.

Good morning, what time is it?

"Boss, it's already nine o'clock. How late were you working last night?" Li Hao replied, looking over at them.

"Oh! I just read for a little while. This morning, everyone should organize the clues again and try to find something useful." After saying that, he got up, picked up his clothes, glanced at Sui Yi, and left.

Sui Yi and the others looked at each other, shrugged, and went about their own business.

Time passed by, and the huge office was extremely quiet, except for the occasional conversation and the rustling sound of turning pages.

A knock on the door broke the tranquility, drawing everyone's attention.

"Excuse me, Officer Ye, there's a package for you," the person said.

Chenchen pointed to herself suspiciously, because there were two surnames with the same pronunciation here.

The officer nodded, and Chenchen walked over to find a small, exquisite box. After thanking him, she took it.

The people in the office looked over with gossipy expressions.

"Chenchen, quickly open it and see what it is!" Li Hao is such a sissy, so gossipy.

"Yeah! What did you buy? Who gave it to you?" Ye Zixi chimed in, joining in the fun.

"Hey! Don't push! Don't push!" Chenchen tried to move aside the people surrounding her, but not only did she fail, Jiang Ling snatched the box away from her.

With nimble hands and feet, Jiang Ling opened it, his mouth agape in astonishment.

Wow! So beautiful!

"What is it?" Suiyi walked over.

"How much would a pure gold brooch cost?" he exclaimed, shaking his head in admiration.

"Brooch, brooch, needle!" Sui Yi suddenly said the word "needle," looked up and exchanged a glance with Ye Zixi, and the two of them quickly walked towards the autopsy room together.

Those left behind were stunned, wondering what the two were up to. Chenchen snatched the box, glanced at it, and then sat down in a chair, grinning foolishly. Now even an idiot would know who sent it.

Sui Yi and Zi Xi pulled back the shroud and carefully examined the body for needle marks.

"Sister Zixi, look at the Baihui acupoint and temples on the head for any needle marks. I'm looking at the moles on this person's body."

"Hmm!" Ye Zixi took the flashlight and carefully combed through the corpse's hair, looking for the needle mark. Sure enough, she found an almost invisible needle mark on the Baihui acupoint. Ye Zixi found a magnifying glass, and sure enough, it was there.

Seeing the needle hole, she knew who the murderer was. Suiyi ran out.

"Captain Leng, quickly apply for an arrest warrant to apprehend He Yue. We suspect she killed Tian Shilei," Sui Yi said urgently in one breath.

"Alright! Everyone prepare to go out on duty. I'm going to find the chief." Leng Tianyi's tone was decisive and righteous.

Three minutes later, everyone got into the car and set off to He Yue's house to arrest her, but they found no one there except for a maid.

"Excuse me, ma'am, where did the He family go?" Suiyi walked over and asked.

"Oh, didn't our future son-in-law have an accident yesterday? Miss He was frightened, so the whole family took her out to relax!"

They all knew in their hearts that the suspect had probably fled.

"Chenchen, check the He family's travel records."

“Okay!” Chenchen took out her computer and started looking up information about the He family.

The system has already sent the He family's whereabouts to Suiyi.

“I know where the He family is. Come with me.”

After Sui Yi finished speaking, she took the lead and walked out. Several people followed behind her.

Suiyi got into the driver's seat, and after everyone else got in, she started the car.

"You can drive? Do you have a license?" Leng Tianyi asked from the passenger seat.

"No! But I can speed." Sui Yi looked at him and suddenly smiled, sending chills down one's spine, making one feel that someone had ill intentions.

"Um, Xiaobai, drive slowly later." Li Hao swallowed, a hint of fear in his eyes.

"Don't worry, I won't die. Fasten your seatbelt, I'm off!" Suiyi stepped on the gas, and the car sped away in a flash.

"Ah, Xiaobai, slow down! This is a police car, not a sports car." Li Hao was scared half to death, gripping his seatbelt tightly. Sui Yi ignored him and continued driving very fast, following the route sent to her by the system.

Three hours later, Suiyi parked the car by the roadside and turned to look at the group. They were all lying on their backs, pale and bloodless. Looking at Leng Tianyi in the passenger seat, he seemed normal, but his eyes seemed unfocused.

"Hey! You guys have such low tolerance for stress. This isn't even a race against time!"

"I can't take it anymore, I'm going to throw up." Li Hao got out of the car very quickly, squatted down by the roadside and started vomiting violently. The others behind him couldn't control themselves either and ran out of the car.
