Yang Suiyi is a total homebody whose favorite pastime is writing novels on various websites. However, she inevitably abandons every single one, earning curses from countless readers while gleefully...
While Suiyi was watching a play, she heard voices coming from downstairs.
Did the original owner's family return?
Sui Yi got up, opened the door, and went out. She saw three people in the living room: the original owner's parents and brother.
Just like in her memory, the original owner's father was imposing and tall, and her mother was noble and elegant, a symbol of a wealthy lady. The last one was the original owner's older brother, who seemed to be the third brother, Xu Yiran. He was very tall, at least 1.8 meters, and his slightly tight black shirt showed off his perfect figure. His flaxen hair was stunningly beautiful. He had a pair of clear and bright eyes with a hint of childlike innocence, a straight nose, smooth skin, and thin lips that were a lovely pink. His features were exquisite and beautiful... This third brother looked very much like the original owner because they were twins.
As Sui Yi looked down at the people below, the three seemed to sense something and looked up, directly at Sui Yi.
Suddenly, his expression changed, and he quickly ran to Suiyi with his long legs. His actions caught the attention of his parents, who also walked towards Suiyi after seeing her.
The three men entered Suiyi's room, picked her up without saying a word, and quickly carried her to her bedroom. They carefully placed her on the bed as if protecting a fragile item, took off her shoes, and covered her with a blanket.
"..." Sui Yi was completely dumbfounded. What kind of operation was this? Suddenly he was carrying her in a princess carry?
"Little sister, are you feeling unwell anywhere? Why didn't you tell your brother you were discharged from the hospital? What if something happened to you? How would we manage? Blah blah blah..."
The three kept asking questions, and Suiyi could only see their mouths moving, like Tang Sanzang chanting the Tightening-Headband Mantra, muttering and babbling on and on.
"Stop!" Sui Yi couldn't stand the nagging any longer and felt compelled to intervene.
Xu Yiran finally stopped talking, and Sui Yi breathed a sigh of relief.
"Are you the author of '100,000 Whys'? You're asking so many questions at once. Which one should I answer?"
Sui Yi's bright and clear eyes looked at Xu Yiran, which stirred up feelings of affection for his younger sister in his heart.
Her oval face and bright, clear eyes were captivating, leaving one mesmerized and entranced. It was as if one were under a hypnotic spell. Above her large eyes were delicate, arched eyebrows, a small, straight nose, and a round, slightly pouting mouth. A few strands of her flaxen hair playfully clung to her smooth forehead, making her appear pure, charming, and utterly captivating.
"Is your brother worried about you?"
Seeing that her younger sister was safe and sound, Xu Yiran finally felt relieved.
"Third Brother, I'm all better now. I was so bored in the hospital after I woke up, so I had Xu Jinyu bring me back."
Sui Yi dared not break character now. As twins, the connection between them was very obvious, and she couldn't let him see any flaws, or it would be bad. Sui Yi imitated the original owner and spoke to her brother.
"At least Xu Jinyu has some conscience. He knew to bring you back."
"By the way, Third Brother, why are none of you at the hospital? Did something happen?" Suiyi asked.
"It's nothing serious, just a little trouble. It delayed your brother from picking up our little princess. Your brother apologizes to the little princess."
Xu Yiran didn't want her younger sister to waste her energy on other things; she just wanted to enjoy life in good health!
"Oh! Please don't hide anything from me. I'm part of this family too, and I should do my part. I'm worried about you all working so hard."
Sui Yi looked at Xu Yiran with hopeful eyes, winking and acting cute, which melted Xu Yiran's heart.
"Good girl, big brother hasn't spoiled you for nothing." He patted Suiyi's head and said with a smile.
"Daughter, are you feeling unwell?" Mom and Dad walked in, looking at Suiyi with concern and worry.
"Mom and Dad, I'm okay! Don't worry."
"God is a cruel god, making my precious child suffer so much!" Mother Xu said, tears welling up in her eyes.
Suiyi quickly got up, picked up a tissue from the bedside, and wiped away her mother's tears.
"Mom, I'm perfectly fine, aren't I?"
Sui Yi felt helpless. She pitied the great parents of the world, who worried themselves sick over their children. Seeing Xu's mother, Sui Yi missed her own mother, wondering when she would be able to see her again. Sui Yi was soft-hearted and couldn't bear to see her own people cry.
"Girl, you've been discharged from the hospital. What did the doctor say?"
"The doctor said it's not a big problem. As long as I keep a good mood every day, don't do strenuous exercise, eat well and sleep well, there won't be any major problems."
"Mmm! Are you hungry, baby? Mommy will go and cook your favorite crab porridge." After saying that, she got up and left.
After Mrs. Xu left, Mr. Xu finally had a chance to speak. He didn't say as much as Mrs. Xu; he simply patted her head and said, "My good daughter, you must take good care of yourself!" before leaving.
Suiyi chuckled. It seemed that Xu's father was just like any other father, quiet and reserved, silently doting on his child.
"Brother, I'm fine now, and I've been sleeping for several days. I don't want to sleep now," Sui Yi said softly, looking at Xu Yiran sitting by her bedside.
"If anything happens, you must tell your brother, okay?"
"Um! By the way, bro, are you playing games right now?"
"how?"
"I downloaded a game, bro, wanna play? Help me get cool and level up!"
What game?
