Yang Suiyi is a total homebody whose favorite pastime is writing novels on various websites. However, she inevitably abandons every single one, earning curses from countless readers while gleefully...
Suiyi was very satisfied with this trip. Although she did not find the Roc, the adventure made the trip worthwhile!
It took Sui Yi two days to return to Chiyang Star. Upon her return, just like last time, she was surrounded by a group of people, curious about whether she had encountered any extraordinary adventures on this desolate planet.
Unfortunately, Suiyi had no intention of telling them anything, and everyone left disappointed.
Back home, Suiyi sat on the sofa.
"You know you're back? Do you know how long you've been gone? How worried I was about you?" As soon as Sui Yi sat down, her uncle launched into a tirade of abuse.
"I've only been there for about three days, haven't I?"
"Three days! You've been gone for ten days already, do you even know that? And we haven't been able to find any trace of the spaceship here. I'm so afraid something might have happened to you. I even sailed the warship to look for you, but I couldn't find you. Do you know how anxious and worried I was?" He looked at her irritably, truly terrified by her presence this time!
"But I'm back safe and sound, aren't I?"
“If my daughter ends up like you, I will definitely strangle her.”
Sui Yi felt a chill on her neck. Luckily, she wasn't his daughter, or she would have been in trouble!
"Here, have some tea to calm down. Yingying's back, you should be happy." Wen Xuerou looked at the man with a sharp tongue but a kind heart with a smile and poured him a cup of tea.
Calming herself down, she glanced at Suiyi and gave a cold snort of annoyance.
Did you encounter any danger this time?
"No, but I did encounter a pleasant surprise."
"What?"
"I can't tell you now, I'll tell you when I have the chance. Uncle, you just said that ten days have passed?"
"Would I lie to you?" He glanced at her sideways and said coldly.
"Okay! I only feel like I've been gone for three days."
"What's there to doubt? You've entered a spatial barrier, haven't you? So the flow of time is different, it's perfectly normal."
"Oh!" Sui Yi remained noncommittal; it seemed that it was still not advisable to take unnecessary risks.
"From today onwards, you're not going anywhere. Just stay home or go to the academy to practice operating the mecha. Here's the key to the second floor; go there directly when the time comes."
"Thank you, Uncle, for giving me special treatment."
"So you're afraid of trouble, otherwise why would I need to step in?"
"Oh, right, Uncle, I have something good for you and Sister Xue Rou." Sui Yi pretended to take two bright green fruits out of her bag. She gently made a hole in one of them and handed it to the two of them.
"What is this?" He looked at Suiyi with a puzzled expression.
"This is good stuff, drink it quickly, it's very good for your health!"
Sui Yi urged the two of them to drink it with some skepticism. It tasted like sweet water, but once it entered their stomachs, they felt a warm sensation.
Suddenly, the uncle's eyes widened, he clutched his stomach, looking extremely uncomfortable, and his brows furrowed!
"What's wrong?"
"Did you poison me? My stomach hurts so much now, you...you just wait!" With that, she ran off, but before she got far, Suiyi heard a "gurgle" sound, which made her run even faster!
Suiyi: ...a loud, earth-shattering fart.
Xue Rou: Awkward...
"Hiss!" Wen Xuerou also felt a little uncomfortable. Sui Yi looked over and saw her looking at her awkwardly.
"No way! Why didn't I have any reaction when I ate it?"
"Excuse me for a moment!" He said, turning and leaving without waiting for Suiyi's reply.
"Ah Xing, could these two be lucky enough to get a bone marrow cleansing treatment?"
"No, at most it will clear some harmful toxins from the body."
"Really?" Sui Yi suddenly stood up, picked up her clothes from the sofa, and was about to leave.
Where to?
"I'll go to the college and find a dormitory to stay in tonight. I guess I can't stay here anymore. I don't want to stay in this stinky place."
"That makes sense. Take me with you, let's go together." Ah Xing didn't want to stay in that kind of environment either; just thinking about it made him feel like he couldn't stand it.
Suiyi put Ah Xing in her pocket and walked outside. She strolled leisurely towards the academy. Luckily, her uncle's house wasn't far from the academy; it only took about ten minutes to walk there.
Suiyi walked along the road, looking relaxed. It wasn't evening yet, and there wasn't much scenery to see, only tall buildings and crowds of people coming and going.
"Miss Mu!"
Someone called her from behind. Sui Yi turned around and saw a big man, the one she had sparred with last time.
"It's you!" she said to him.
"I've been looking for you for a long time, Miss. I need your help with an experiment. Is that alright?" She asked shyly, as she had never done this before.
“Okay! Take me there!” Suiyi readily agreed.
"Really? That's great!" The big man laughed happily, his face squishing together and trembling.
"Let's go!" Sui Yi gestured with her chin and led the way.
Brute force quickly caught up and walked side by side with Suiyi.
"What is it that you want my help with?" he asked, turning to look at Manli.
"It's what I told you last time. I want to see if I can fight against a machine. As you can see from my physique, operating a mecha is very strenuous, so I want to try and see if there is any power that can fight without a mecha."
"Actually, this should be quite simple. Whether it's the human body or a so-called mecha, everything has certain flaws. You just need to find these flaws and overcome them one by one!"
