"Yueyue," Qianchen said, carrying Lengyue, and suddenly flew up, circling far away from the water curtain.

The two looked at each other in surprise. "You can fly?" Leng Yue exclaimed.

"Master, wait for me." The water curtain transformed into the appearance of a three- or five-year-old girl. "Wait for me, I am Quanxi."

The girl made of water moved incredibly fast, relentlessly chasing Leng Yue and Qian Chen. As she chased, she called out to Leng Yue, "Master, don't go with bad people! Don't go with him!"

Wherever Qianchen flew, the little girl followed, like a piece of chewing gum that she could never shake off.

"What exactly do you want to do?" Qian Chen's face darkened. How dare he call him a bad person? She was the bad person, wasn't she?

"I'm not a bad person, I'm Yueyue's lover." Qianchen stopped and started arguing with the little girl. He also realized that in this place, they couldn't outrun the little girl.

"Master!" The little girl rushed into Leng Yue's arms as soon as she saw him stop.

"Who are you?" Seeing that the little girl did nothing but hug her, Leng Yue glanced at Qian Chen and then pulled her away.

"I'm Quanxi, I'm Quanxi!" the little girl exclaimed excitedly.

Leng Yue pulled the little girl away and noticed that her clothes weren't wet. Curious, she asked, "Aren't you wet?"

“Quanxi is a mermaid, not water.” The little girl puffed out her cheeks and looked at Leng Yue. “Master, don’t you remember Quanxi? Quanxi has been waiting for you for so long! You never come, and Quanxi is getting anxious.”

"You were waiting for me? Do we know each other?" Leng Yue looked at Qian Chen. "But I've never seen you before."

"How could that be?" Quanxi asked, her face showing grievance. "Master saved me from the hands of humans back then, how could you not remember?"

“I…” Leng Yue wanted to explain, but Qian Chen stopped her.

"Can you tell us about what happened back then?" Qianchen glanced at Lengyue and said to Quanxi.

"Hmph! You're a bad person! You're the one who stole my master! Quanxi isn't talking to you!" Quanxi pouted and turned away from Qianchen.

Seeing this, Qianchen touched his nose and said to Lengyue, "You should do it. This little kid doesn't like me."

Leng Yue smiled and said to Quanxi, "Can you tell me about our past?"

“Master, come here,” Quanxi said mysteriously, pulling Leng Yue’s hand. “Let’s have a private conversation, but don’t let the bad guys hear us.”

Qianchen looked at Lengyue with a wronged expression. Lengyue couldn't help but chuckle and comforted him, "Alright, alright, wait a moment." Before Lengyue could finish speaking, the little girl pulled him away.

"Quanxi, slow down." Leng Yue was pulled so hard she couldn't straighten up, because the other person was just a tiny baby less than three heads tall, and she had to bend over to cooperate.

They walked until they were very, very far away from Qianchen before stopping. Quanxi looked at Qianchen and said to Lengyue, "Master, bend down. I'm only going to tell you."

Leng Yue thought to herself, "This little girl is quite cautious." She glanced at Qian Chen, then squatted down and looked at Quan Xi, saying, "Don't worry, he can't hear you. Go ahead and speak."

Quanxi glanced at Qianchen again, still worried, and only after confirming that he hadn't followed her did she begin to speak with Lengyue.

Quanxi mostly talked about her own experiences, and she didn't know much about Leng Yue's situation. She only knew that Leng Yue was her savior, and they had signed a contract. Later, Leng Yue disappeared, and Quanxi assumed that Leng Yue had been kidnapped by Qian Chen, which is why she called Qian Chen a bad person as soon as they met.

Quanxi is a mermaid. It is said that one day she was singing under the moon when she was captured by fishermen. They planned to imprison Quanxi and use her as bait to capture more mermaids.

During the full moon, they tortured Quanxi on the beach. Quanxi still remembers the feeling of being whipped, one lash after another; it hurt terribly.

Later, Quanxi's voice became hoarse from crying, and pearls could no longer come out of her eyes. Seeing that she could not lure other mermaids, the fishermen prepared to take her back and imprison her forever.

Quanxi was in despair. She had grown up in the sea and had always been free. She couldn't imagine what life would be like if she were imprisoned.

Quanxi prayed to the moon, begging God to save her. Suddenly, a dark spot appeared in the moon, slowly growing larger until it turned into a person.

This person is Leng Yue. She saved Quanxi, and Quanxi took the initiative to make a contract with her.

"I came from the moon? I'm not Chang'e, how could I have come from the moon?" Leng Yue found it increasingly fantastical. Everyone talks about Chang'e flying to the moon, but she'd never heard of Chang'e flying to Earth.

Quanxi insisted, "I saw my master fly down from the moon with my own eyes, there's no mistake."
