Male Lead: I allow you to seduce me! Leng Yue: ... This generation's male lead is so hard to handle, I want to go ho...
At midnight, the manor seemed quiet, but Lily couldn't fall asleep.
Lily's room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, a large floor-to-ceiling window, and moonlight streaming in onto her pillow. It was a princess-like room, the kind of room she'd always dreamed of. But now that she was actually living in it, she couldn't sleep.
Looking back now, Lily finds this manor very strange. Such a vast manor, with so many guards, yet no one has ever dined together. And to this day, she hasn't seen any other blood hunters.
Isn't this the headquarters of the Blood Hunters? Why aren't there any other Blood Hunters here? In Lily's imagination, there should be many Blood Hunters here. Moreover, these Blood Hunters are different from the members of their little club; the Blood Hunters here are all exceptionally powerful, and each one should be full of arrogance.
However, it was eerily quiet here, as if no one was alive.
Lily missed her tiny, cockroach-infested room in the Little Club. The bed was small, the walls were broken, and the windows were opaque. Even the floorboards were made of broken wood!
But now she misses that place terribly. She misses its dilapidated state and its noisy environment. What Lily found annoying back then, she now misses terribly.
Because, although it was dilapidated, it was full of vitality! A place full of vitality was more suitable for the blood hunters like them!
Unable to fall asleep, Lily threw on her clothes and got out of bed. She wanted to find Andrew; he was the only person she knew here.
Lily wasn't very familiar with the area, only knowing where Andrew's room was. Not wanting to disturb anyone, she walked barefoot.
There are many rooms here, but most of them are unoccupied. She and Andrew were not assigned to the same floor; her room was on the third floor, and Andrew's was on the fourth floor.
Lily reached the stairs and walked through the empty rooms. Actually, Lily was a little scared, but thinking that she had already come so far, she mustered up her courage and continued.
Lily didn't see Andrew's room until she reached the end of the corridor. Luckily, she had come here with them during the day.
Lily reached out to knock, but it was quiet inside, so she withdrew her hand. Lily suddenly hesitated; she wondered if Andrew was already asleep.
After hesitating for a moment, Lily decided to talk to Andrew again tomorrow. A gust of wind blew by, and Lily couldn't help but shiver. She wasn't wearing shoes; she hadn't noticed before, but now she suddenly felt very cold.
Just then, Andrew's door creaked open in the wind. Lily wondered why Andrew didn't close the door when he slept.
Now that the door was open, Lily changed her mind and went inside.
Lily first looked at Andrew's bed and found that he wasn't in it at all. Lily went over and touched Andrew's blanket, finding that it was cold.
"Andrew?" Lily called softly, "Where are you?"
No one spoke, and Lily prepared to leave. She wondered if Andrew had gone to the bathroom, and decided not to disturb him. Just then, the door closed softly.
"Lily? What are you doing here?" Under the moonlight, Andrew could clearly see that it was Lily, and he was also surprised.
"Where did you go? Why didn't you close the door?" Lily asked when Andrew returned.
"Oh, the butler said he needed to see me, but I couldn't find him, so I came back on my own," Andrew explained as he lit the candles in the room.
Only then did Andrew notice that Lily had been barefoot the whole time, and he was very displeased. "Why aren't you wearing shoes? You'll get sick if you do that."
Just as Andrew finished speaking, Lily sneezed loudly. Lily looked at Andrew sheepishly, "I wasn't wearing anything because I was worried about being discovered."
“So what if we’re found out? It’s not a serious matter,” Andrew said, picking up a blanket from the bed. “Here, wrap your feet up to keep them warm.”
Lily took the blanket, and Andrew said, "Come sit over there, it's warmer by the fireplace."
Andrew's house has a small fireplace, which, though not large, is very warm. Hearing Andrew's words, Lily took a blanket and went to the fireplace.
After warming up for a while, Lily looked at Andrew and asked, "Do you like it here?"
"It's great, the food is good, and the accommodations are good." Without a doubt, Andrew felt that the conditions here were hundreds of times better than where they had stayed before.
“But I don’t really like it here.” Lily said, sounding a little down. “I miss everything about the club. Even though everything there was broken down, it felt more like home.”
“The club?” Andrew’s eyes flashed. “But we can’t go back, can we? Lily, it’s really nice here. You’ll get used to it if you stay here.”
Looking into Andrew's serious eyes, Lily was momentarily dazed, then murmured to herself, "Will I really get used to it?"
Andrew smiled and assured them, "Yes, they will, they definitely will." They all need to get used to life here; they can't go back to the club.
“But I want to leave,” Lily said, looking at Andrew. “Will you leave with me?”
Andrew suddenly became unhappy. "Why leave? Isn't it good here? Look at you, you eat well and live well here, like a little princess. Isn't this what you've always dreamed of? Why do you want to leave? Where can you go if you leave here?"
"Andrew?" Lily was startled by Andrew's sudden outburst. "What's wrong with you?"
"I'm fine, sorry, I scared you." Andrew turned around and took a deep breath. Then he turned back to Lily, "Lily, would you like to stay with me?"
Lily looked into Andrew's eyes and felt that his gaze was somewhat unfamiliar. She took a deep breath and answered seriously, "Andrew, I will try my best to adapt to everything here."
Andrew laughed. "Good girl, that's a good girl." Andrew said, but the smile didn't reach his eyes.
Seeing that it was getting late, Lily suggested going back to her room. Andrew didn't try to stop her, but simply walked her to the bottom of the stairs. After saying goodnight to each other, they went back to their respective rooms.
Andrew returned to his room, closed the door, leaned against it, and took a deep breath, lost in thought.
"Not bad? You can already seduce girls before even being embraced. Andrew, well done!" A slender figure got off Andrew's bed, walked a few steps to Andrew's side, and hooked her arm around his neck.
"How about it? Would you like to dance with me, my prince?" The woman whispered in Andrew's ear, her breath sweet as orchids.
Andrew nodded as if he had lost his soul. "My princess, it is my honor to dance with you."
As Andrew spoke, he mechanically placed his hands in front of his chest, gave a half-bow, and extended his hand to the woman. The woman smiled happily, placed her jade-like hand into Andrew's palm, and the two began to dance quietly...
