Shen Shuyi leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on the scarred skin of his chest.

She continued to kiss gently along the old wounds, the painful scars that had been on his body for a long time.

Ning Shitang hugged the girl tightly in his arms, and seeing the tears in the corners of her eyes, he felt as if he was in a dream.

He listened to Shuyi calling him husband over and over again.

The place where he and Shen Shuyi sat and rested was separated by a door, providing absolute privacy.

Ning Shitang closed the newspaper and put it on the table, hugged the person in his arms and smiled.

He had never had the heart to play before. He spent all day in the military camp, working hard. How could he have the leisure time he has now with a beautiful girl in his arms?

"Well, it's very lively during the Chinese New Year. There's a Lantern Festival in the city."

Shen Shuyi counted the days on his fingers, "That will be soon!"

"Shall we go play together then?"

She seemed to have thought of something and suddenly lowered her eyes.

"Brother Shitang...will you have a lot to do when you return to Ningzhou City? We agreed not to separate..."

The driver drove, adjutant Li Yi sat in the passenger seat, and Shen Shuyi and Ning Shitang sat in the back seat.

But before the car reached the Ning Mansion, Ning Shitang discovered that there was a car following behind.
