Chapter 15: Together Forever (The End)

"Hmm..."

Gu Shanshan let out a whimper, offering no resistance, and wrapped her arms around Gong Ye's shoulders, pressing herself against him.

The spring scenery in the room floated and sank, only stopping when the sky was fully bright.

When Gu Shanshan was finally released and woke up, it was two days later.

The two held hands.

"Gong Ye, we will be the second one."

Gu Shanshan's words were both a guarantee and a promise, which reassured Gong Ye.

A hoarse voice whispered in Gu Shanshan's ear, "Shanshan, from now on, we will be together forever."

Gu Shanshan replied, "Yes, we will be together forever."

Their eyes met, each seeing only the other's face, their gazes shining, everything understood without words.

No matter how the world changes, they will never be separated again...
