After an accidental death, Shi Lan travels through various worlds to help those female supporting characters who were cannon foddered achieve their wishes and live anew.
She experiences vario...
Not knowing how long she had slept, Shi Lan lazily opened her eyes, hugging the soft blankets, not wanting to move.
A rhythmic knocking sound came from outside the door, and then the door opened, and a tall, handsome man who bore a slight resemblance to Shi Lan walked in.
"Get up quickly, your father sent a message asking you to call him back," the man kicked the bed leg, looking at Shi Lan who had her head and face buried under the covers, "If you dare to do it, then you should dare to take responsibility. Such a big thing has happened, your mother is terrified, and your father is very angry. I advise you to be mentally prepared."
Shi Lan rolled her eyes under the covers, then suddenly threw them off, holding up her bandaged arm, and said to the man in a coquettish tone, "Second Brother, look how badly I'm injured, can't you help me fight back?"
The original owner's second brother, Shi Min, chuckled twice and said, "Now you know you're injured. Weren't you quite heroic when I saved you?"
"It's nothing, just minor injuries, nothing to worry about," he said, waving his hand in a sarcastic tone, mimicking Shi Lan's manner at the time.
Shi Lan grinned and chuckled foolishly.
During the rescue, the cameras on the aircraft were supposed to be on, but since she had already done everything, there was no point in doing that last thing. So she just fired at the Zerg aircraft and acted like a hero.
Little did she know that her second brother would be the first to come down, and he was caught red-handed.
Shi Lan blinked her big, watery eyes, looking at Shi Min with a soft, adorable expression.
Shi Min was already used to her tricks and didn't fall for them at all. He just glanced at her sideways and gave her a fake smile. "You're in trouble. Your mother is sick from fright, and your father has already returned to the old house. Everyone in the family knows what you've been up to these past few years." He raised an eyebrow at Shi Lan and gave her a roguish smile. "Congratulations. Your father and older brother are furious. The old butler is on his way to pick you up." He looked down at the personal terminal on his wrist. "Your older brother should be arriving soon too."
Shi Lan let out a wail, wrapped herself in the blanket, and rolled around on the bed, crying, "No!"
The original owner's eldest brother, Shi Jun, was as serious and aloof as his name suggested. Like his father, he was old-fashioned and conservative. He thought like most alpha males that omega females should stay at home and find a suitable man to marry before their menstrual cycle started, have children, and live out their lives like that.
Shi Min, on the other hand, had a more diverse set of ideas. He didn't seem to have any fixed understanding of these categorized races. He believed that as long as one could perform the job, it didn't matter which ABO category one belonged to.
The original owner had once told him about her thoughts, saying she wanted to go to military school. Shi Min remained neutral, but he also told her to convince her father and her eldest brother, who doted on her the most.
The original owner did want to tell Shi Jun before, but she was turned away after only a few words. So she followed Shi Jun's mother's lead and managed to sneak into the military academy through a lot of nonsense. In order to prevent her precious daughter from being punished by the men in the family, Shi Jun's mother had no choice but to keep it a secret with great anxiety. As a result, this secret was kept for four years. If it weren't for the original owner's accident this time, the military academy notified the family, and Shi Jun's mother collapsed and fell ill, the family probably still wouldn't know.
Shi Min's personal computer flashed twice rapidly. Shi Min glanced at Shi Lan, raised his wrist and tapped it. Shi Jun's cold, aloof, and handsome face immediately appeared in the air.
Where is Lanlan?
Shi Jun glanced at Shi Min and got straight to the point.
Shi Min grinned at Shi Lan, revealing a helpless expression. He twisted his wrist, and Shi Jun's eyes shifted slightly, staring at Shi Lan, who was lounging on the bed with only her eyes showing, peeking at him.
"Get dressed. I'll be boarding the ship in two minutes. I expect you to be neatly dressed when you stand before me," Shi Jun said calmly, his lips pursed, seeing his younger sister's tousled hair and her small, fair hands clutching the blanket, though she clearly had just woken up. He then turned his gaze to Shi Min, "As an A gentleman, how could you so rashly enter an O's room? Have you wasted all your social etiquette lessons? Don't make this mistake again, or I'll show you what kind of punishment you'll receive for knowingly committing a wrong!"
Shi Min was so scolded that he couldn't lift his head. He looked at Lanlan with a bit of stage fright and muttered, "Lanlan isn't an outsider. I was the one who bandaged her up when she was injured."
Shi Jun's thick eyebrows immediately stood up, and Shi Lan hurriedly raised her arm, which was wrapped up like a dumpling, and jumped off the bed to save the day, "It's just my hand and arm, I did everything else myself."
Shi Jun looked at her disheveled pajamas with a cold face and said, "Pull your clothes up straight. What kind of person are you, acting so crazy?"
Shi Lan quickly straightened her collar, which had been rubbing against the back of her clothes, and gave Shi Jun a fawning smile.
Shi Jun's expression softened as he looked at her rosy cheeks from sleeping. "Where else are you hurt?"
Shi Lan pointed to the cuts on her body from the broken glass and said, "It's nothing, just some minor scratches. They'll be fine in a few days."
Although he already knew that Shi Lan was alright, Shi Jun felt relieved after seeing it with his own eyes. He gave a dignified "hmm," checked the time, and ended the communication.
Shi Min glanced at Shi Lan, who raised her small face and gave him a flattering smile. He was her only potential ally, and she couldn't afford to offend him easily.
Shi Min snorted, quite dissatisfied with being scolded by his older brother for no reason. He looked Shi Lan up and down and muttered disdainfully, "You should grow up quickly. If this continues, I'll start to think that our family is just a mother."
Shi Lan looked down at her flat chest, covered it with her hand, and then glared at him angrily, "This is discrimination. Be careful, or I'll tell my brother."
Shi Min snorted, tossed his head, and left without looking back, saying, "I'm really worried about your future spouse."
