The female lead is powerful, ruthless, and stunningly beautiful—she stops at nothing to get what she wants. Sheng Wu, the Ghost King sealed beneath the Abyss of Ten-Thousand Ghosts, is cruel and ...
Lucifer was wearing a white robe with a light golden hue, and his tall figure stood in the hall. His blue-green pupils were slightly lowered, and the aura around him was clean and holy, and there seemed to be a faint halo.
"Lucifer, you know that the first human I created was Lucius. Although he is a human and does not have as powerful magic as other races, the human mind is the most complex and has the most potential."
Hearing this, Lucifer didn't know who he was thinking of, and the depths of his blue-green pupils turned slightly cold. Indeed, humans are very cunning and can deceive people.
God continued, "Lucius was created entirely in my image. He is my most perfect work, what is considered the eldest son among humans. I have decided to wait for him to grow up and have him take my place. You will all obey his orders."
As soon as these words fell, Lucifer's holy and handsome face showed some reaction, and his brows were slightly frowned.
"You mean you want to abdicate?"
"No, it's not an abdication." God chuckled and shook his head. "I just want some free time to explore every corner of this world I created. I'm also looking forward to seeing how far Lucius, my most satisfying creation, will develop. I have always felt that without the charm of mermaids, the prayer power of the undead, and the healing power of the elves, humans will surely unleash even greater power. It will surprise me."
Upon hearing this, Lucifer, who had always been a confidant and was slightly proud of being trusted by God, felt a little depressed in his heart, which had always been selfless.
"How can you be so sure it has to be Lucius? He's only the first human you created, and you'll create more. Besides, humans are complex and more cunning than werewolves. They simply don't have the power to fight any other race. If you let him take your place temporarily, I'm afraid something bad will happen."
Lucifer's words were extremely pertinent and selfless, and he was indeed considering the overall situation.
Of course, he didn't believe in his heart that a powerless human being who could be easily crushed to death by his hand could climb over his head and give him orders.
"No."
But God looked at Lucifer, waved his hand and smiled.
"Nothing is certain. Only after practice can we know the results, and I am absolutely sure to accept all the consequences."
After a pause, God stood up.
"Alright, go take care of the merman's affairs first. When you come back, I'll find a time for you seven archangels to meet with Lucius. Then I'll officially hand over my position."
After saying this, God’s figure disappeared before he even walked out of the hall.
Upon seeing this, Lucifer's gray-brown and slightly evil eyebrows twitched, and a strange feeling quietly grew in his heart.
The Archangel's fingertips clenched slightly under his wide robe, and then he turned around and walked out of the hall with a flick of his sleeves.
He had just come out when he saw Raphael, who had come out earlier, was still there, seemingly waiting for him.
As soon as he saw him come out, Raphael, a man with a dark western face, slightly wheat-colored complexion and extremely strong muscles, walked up to him.
"You're becoming increasingly aggressive and violent. The mermaid issue could be resolved with minimal sacrifice, yet you're determined to stain the ocean with blood."
There was a hint of disapproval of Lucifer in Raphael's proud eyes.
Lucifer's blue-green sapphire eyes glanced at him lightly, his eyebrows were indifferent, and his warm voice was full of careless laziness.
"That will only give traitors from other races hope. If we can't make an example of them, there will only be more rebellions in the future."
Lucifer is kind as an angel, but he is not as benevolent as Lucius. His holiness and kindness are useless to those who rebel against God. He only protects God.
In other words, he was also upholding his duty and glory as the first archangel under his loyalty to God.
Raphael didn't buy his statement, he just narrowed his blue eyes and spoke in a condensed voice.
"Lucifer, do you know that God wants us to submit to that human Lucius?"
Lucifer raised his eyelids, said nothing, and just looked at him indifferently.
Seeing this, Raphael understood the situation.
"You have always been proud of being the most powerful archangel under God. Although I am below you, as archangels we both have our own powerful strength and glory. But now God wants us to submit to a powerless human." After a pause, he stepped forward slightly, and his wide angel robe moved slightly.
"Are you willing?"
The blue eyes stared at Lucifer.
Hearing this, Lucifer raised his gray-brown eyebrows wickedly and replied directly, "I will do whatever God says. I have no objection!"
After a pause, Lucifer pretended to look at the sun in the sky, with a hint of a smile in his eyes.
"Oh, it's getting late. I should go and deal with the merpeople's affairs as ordered by God."
After saying that, he turned around and left. The moment he passed by, the smile on his face suddenly disappeared.
The aura was so oppressive that the angels immediately saluted wherever he went.
Raphael, who was watching him leave from behind, narrowed his eyes slightly, with a faint glimmer in his blue pupils, and then he sneered.
The stronger a species is, the more it cannot stand being suppressed by weaker species.
Lucifer has always been proud of his strength and is God's favorite archangel. Suddenly he was overpowered by a human. It was nothing at the moment, but as time went on, he didn't believe that Lucifer took it seriously or didn't care about anything.
Nothing remains unchanged forever, not even the holy and kind angels.
Lucifer and a group of angels spread their huge white wings and flew to the horizon, preparing to head to the sea area of the mermaids.
When he flew over the territory of the Archangel, his blue-green eyes moved slightly, and he glanced at the river below. It was the Milky Way that he and the beautiful doll had fallen into twice before.
