The rain disappeared as soon as it touched the ground. It seemed like a light rain that wouldn't stop all night despite the thunder and lightning, but when people woke up in the morning, they found that the ground outside was still dry, without a single water stain, as if yesterday's rain was just a dream.

Mu Chunfeng had a rare good night's sleep, and his body felt a long-lost sense of ease. When he woke up, he couldn't help but give Ye Tan, who had already opened her eyes and was looking at him, a gentle smile without any pretense: "Good morning."

The handsome man's smile was as gentle as a spring breeze, his eyes slightly curved, revealing a soft, tender light in the depths of his gaze.

They got up and dressed, and an unprecedented sense of peace and warmth filled the air between the two sworn enemies.

A sudden magical rain brought the world back to its usual tranquility, and in this tranquility, Long Xun and Gou Di's films were about to premiere one after the other.

The strength of the Long family is beyond doubt. Although Long Xun assigned a small team, which was like finding a needle in a haystack, to complete the task, they still managed to do so.

Apart from the occasional use of props and special effects to create the "Two Yuan and Three Liang" effect, all the members of the Dragon Seeking Team from back then have been reunited, and their faces are still the same.

Dressed in formal attire, they stood on the stage of the ceremony. After the director finished his speech and bowed, they all came down and sat in their seats, enjoying the film created by Long Xun to commemorate that world with the audience.

The main plot is actually quite simple; it begins with a thrilling zombie siege and defense battle.

The realistic images startled many people in the movie theater.

After finally repelling the zombies, the people in the safe base attended the funeral. The Longxun team, as the leaders of the base, held a meeting. Sheila from the research institute said that the research on the J virus antibody had been completed. She tried to have the zombie king Po lure the zombies to surround and kill them with a single shot. The team members disagreed with this method. Longxun, as the team leader, and Po, who was at the center of the discussion, one watched coldly and the other remained silent with his head down. In the end, the argument became too intense, and the discussion ended without a conclusion.

The film opens with a war and an argument, setting the stage for the main story and leaving viewers with many questions.

Rewind to a year ago, when the zombie crisis had just begun. The tightly closed doors of the research institute were kicked open, and the protagonist, Long Xun, walked into the research base with a cold expression. He picked up a mentally challenged version of Yin Chen and the base's AI, Sheila.

In the nearest city, he found Cameron and Po, along with a erratic two-headed golden python named Eryuan Sanliang. Through the supercomputer's network, they contacted people outside and informed them about the zombies...

The story's progression seems to be no different from what Long Xun experienced in that world.

But in the latter half of the story, Yin Chen gradually regains his memory. He accidentally gets injured and discovers that his blood is a bit strange, so he experiments on himself and then knocks over the equipment in disbelief.

Afterwards, he would sometimes look at his lover with complicated emotions, hesitant to speak. Once, when the two embraced, he even said, "If there is a next life..."

At that moment, Long Xun interrupted him fiercely: "There is no next life, only this life! We will always be together!"

Yin Chen fell silent.

With the story more than halfway through, the zombie king Po, who was on the side of humanity, had been accepted by the people, a safe base had been established, and the argument from the opening scene reappeared. However, this time the argument had a conclusion, and Po himself stood up and said that he was going to his death.

Long Xun remained silent, and after a long silence, everyone agreed.

After the meeting ended, Po silently packed his things. Just as he was about to leave the room, he saw Yin Chen smiling unnaturally. Then, Yin Chen knocked him unconscious and carried him to a secluded location.

A commotion erupted in the movie theater; clearly, no one had ever thought that this handsome, effeminate, yet innocent and adorable young man was the boss.

In a room that resembled an operating room, Yin Chen injected some kind of medicine into Po, stared at him with an inscrutable expression for a moment, then turned to pick up another medicine to inject himself, but was suddenly knocked away by a hand.

Just then, a rather familiar voice rang out: "Why did you do this...?"

The plot takes an unexpected turn.

During the argument between Yin Chen and the suddenly arriving Long Xun, the truth finally comes to light.

Dr. Long Xun, in order to revive his lover Yin Chen, researched viruses and transformed Yin Chen's body, which had died of illness, into the J virus progenitor. Later, as the virus progenitor, Yin Chen actually woke up, but he overturned the virus, causing a virus leak in the research base, which led to a catastrophic disaster.

Long Xun did not mean it that way, and he was trying his best to make amends. Yin Chen, who was also a brilliant doctor, slowly regained his memory after waking up and knew what Long Xun had done, which made him feel heartbroken and conflicted.

Just as Po was about to embark on his path to death, Yin Chen's conscience finally triumphed over his selfishness. He used a potion he had secretly researched to neutralize the zombie virus in Po's body. However, the potion that followed was the one that killed the virus that was sustaining Yin Chen's life.

If Yin Chen, who is the mother of the virus, dies, the zombie virus will lose its vitality, and the zombie crisis will naturally be resolved. Long Xun knows this, and Yin Chen also recently learned about it after studying himself.
