Long Xun thought that the news about the dragon would be a big deal, but to his surprise, it didn't make a ripple at all. It was as if no one knew that a dragon had ever destroyed an airplane.

However, he didn't care about such a trivial matter, because A University had started its semester at that time.

The original owner of Long Xun was restored to his original appearance: bangs covering his eyes, wearing unfashionable glasses, and walking with his head down. Long Xun dragged his suitcase to dormitory 203.

Xuanyuan Hao used the alias Yuan Hao. He had sword-like eyebrows, bright eyes, a fair complexion, and a tall stature, making him a typical male protagonist. Even when dressed in ordinary casual clothes, his handsomeness was hard to hide.

Yuan Hao was pointing at Yang Qing, the eldest in the dormitory, and laughing loudly: "If you don't believe me, ask Monkey. He heard you talking in your sleep just now too."

Yang Qing is a refined and well-mannered bespectacled man with a mild temper. His nickname is Meimei. He is the second oldest in his dormitory and has above-average grades. He does have some talent for finance, but he is just a minor character in the original novel.

Cen Qiu, who had already transformed into a woman, came to school in disguise. He was originally handsome and slender, and had earned the nickname "Monkey." He was the youngest in his dormitory. After becoming a woman, he was as beautiful as a white lotus flower that rose from the mud unsullied. This forced him to imitate Long Xun's style, growing long bangs and wearing black-rimmed glasses to conceal his changed appearance.

Fortunately, no one noticed his altered appearance after he entered the dormitory, which relieved him.

Hearing Yuan Hao mention him, Cen Qiu relaxed and chuckled, "Of course it's you, boss. I wonder whose name you're calling out so affectionately. Oh, baby!"

Cen Qiu's affected manner made Yuan Hao laugh heartily. Yang Qing pushed up his glasses speechlessly and said helplessly, "You can laugh at me all you want, but don't give me any reason to criticize you."

As they were talking, they heard a knock on the dormitory door. Yuan Hao immediately said, "Come in!"

When the door opened, a tall, thin young man walked in with his head down. His overly long bangs obscured his face, and the thick, black-rimmed glasses he wore only made things worse.

"Long Xun is here too!" Yuan Hao greeted him with a smile. Before the female lead became brainless, Yuan Hao was indeed a very charismatic person, and this dormitory had an extraordinary sense of cohesion because of him. However, because Long Xun was always aloof, the others didn't give him any nicknames, for fear of upsetting him.

Long Xun nodded, put his luggage on the lower left bunk, and didn't say anything.

The others were all used to his taciturn nature and didn't mind. Yang Qing looked at him and then at Cen Qiu, as if she had suddenly discovered something, and asked curiously, "Hey, Monkey A Long, did you two plan this? You're both dressed like this."

Cen Qiu immediately became a little nervous. Seeing this, Yuan Hao changed the subject, saying, "Let's not talk about that. Everyone's here. Let's go have a meal together. It's on me today."

This scene is also in the original novel, but Long Xun, who is always a loner, didn't go when the dinner was being hosted. Later, when the three of them went to a karaoke bar after dinner, Cen Qiu got a little drunk. When she went to the restroom to wash her face, another drunk thug saw her face and tried to force her to have sex with him. After Cen Qiu ran out, she was rescued by the male lead, Yuan Hao. Yuan Hao and Yang Qing fought with those thugs and ended up with bruises on their faces. Cen Qiu was grateful to them and took care of them until she was discharged from the hospital.

Because of this incident, three of the four roommates who were originally on good terms became closer after going through hardships together, while Long Xun, being a loner, was gradually excluded.

This is also why Yuan Hao later took action against Long Xun. Long Xun was always aloof, and he always pushed away the other people in the dormitory who tried to befriend him, so over time the relationship became distant.

Although Long Xun wanted to follow the original plot, he was not satisfied with his own ending in the original work. Besides, both the male and female protagonists were actually good people. The male protagonist was just a bit spoiled and had nothing to say to Long Xun in the beginning, so he nodded and agreed.

Yuan Hao made the same call, and to his surprise, the aloof Long Xun actually agreed. He was a little flattered and quickly said, "In that case, let's go now?"

Yuan Hao was always straightforward and easygoing. Besides, college students don't usually eat in complete silence, especially since today was the first time the three of them from their dorm had participated in a dorm activity together. Yuan Hao felt a great sense of accomplishment, believing that their enthusiasm had softened the ice between them, and he kept the atmosphere lively with his witty remarks. Yang Qing, a gentle and observant person, had long known that Long Xun's family situation might not be good and had always wanted to help him in some way. Now that he saw that Long Xun was finally showing signs of accepting their offer, he also played the role of a straight man, echoing Yuan Hao's words.

Cen Qiu is also an extroverted person. Although he was a little nervous at first because of his own changes, he gradually opened up and participated in the conversation because everyone present was a brother he recognized.

After all, they are all students. Even if some people say that university is like a dye vat, the freshmen who have only been in college for half a year are still children, and their hearts are pure.

Although Long Xun remained silent, he did not put on airs in the face of their goodwill. He would respond occasionally and sometimes join in the conversation.

The group consciously tried to close the distance between themselves, and by the end of the meal, the subtle barrier between Long Xun and the three of them had disappeared.

There was a small problem when it came time to pay the bill. Everyone had finished eating before Long Xun finally spoke up and said that he had already paid.

"This meal is on me," Long Xun said earnestly. "You all took such good care of me before, but I kept refusing other people's kindness because of my own reasons...
