Before the control panel stood two mermaids. The male had a streamlined black fishtail, and his skin was incredibly fair, as if he had never seen sunlight. His deep blue, almond-shaped eyes held an endless allure, as if he were flirting with everyone he looked at. His wavy, dark brown hair, reaching only to his ears, added to his aristocratic air. He wore a tight-fitting garment made of an unknown material, somewhat like a trench coat, but with a wider hem that concealed half of his fishtail. The collar was loosely undone, revealing his alluring Adam's apple and collarbone.

Beside him stood a female mermaid, wearing a silver-gray blazer of the same material, but with a cinched hem that accentuated the beautiful curve of her translucent, light-gold fishtail. Her eyes were also light-gold, and her shimmering hair fell quietly beside her ears. If this mermaid were still, she would look like a beautiful crystal sculpture, rather than a living being.

Behind them, a male mermaid with a silver tail, white hair, and icy green eyes was looking at the starry sky outside through the transparent cockpit with a serious expression. His trench coat was dark gray, unlike the other mermaids who were silver-gray. The material was also thicker, and the collar was completely sealed without any part of it showing.

The clothes didn't have buttons or zippers, and I don't know how they were closed.

The last two mermaids were both male. One had black hair, black eyes, and a black fish tail, while the other had a light blue tail and eyes, and shoulder-length flaxen hair. They were each lying comfortably asleep inside a fish-sized prototype bubble. Below each bubble, there was a piece of "seaweed" holding the bubble in place, preventing it from drifting around inside.

As the spaceship was traveling smoothly, the black-tailed deep-sea mermaid in front of the control panel suddenly saw something on the observation screen, and suddenly whistled. Her sexy voice seemed to whisper in her ear: "Captain Hua Yue~ I think you should take a look at this. You will be interested."

"What happened, Lanqi?" The silver-tailed polar mermaid Xi Huayue gently moved her tail, causing a ripple in the full water of the cabin, making the two large bubbles sway slightly. However, mermaids were obviously used to the bubbles moving, and the two sleeping mermaids simply turned over, patted the bubbles with their tails, and then fell asleep again.

Lanqi slightly wiggled her black tail fin, stepped aside a little, and stroked her chin with interest, saying, "Captain, this is a great discovery."

"What great discovery?" the female crystal mermaid asked with a smile. Xi Huayue was slightly taken aback when she saw the scene displayed on the observation screen. A look of disbelief appeared in her beautiful ice-green eyes as she murmured, "Truly... a wondrous and magnificent existence. Li Qi, take a look too."

Li Qi blinked curiously. The crystal mermaid's characteristics made her eyes sparkle and shimmer, making her incredibly beautiful. When she looked at the observation screen in front of Lan Qi, she couldn't help but exclaim, "What is that?!"

Shocked, her body instantly became completely transparent, and the faint golden color that had been on her body disappeared completely. If she didn't move, it would be as if she were invisible in the water.

Xi Huayue frowned slightly and said in a deep voice, "Li Qi, control yourself!"

"I'm sorry, Captain, I was just too surprised..." Li Qi's apologetic voice came, and soon a wisp of gold reappeared in Li Qi's seat, and the seemingly invisible crystal mermaid reappeared in front of the two fish.

After calming down, Li Qi asked, his voice still tinged with excitement, "Captain, could that be the dragon, the most magnificent creature in the world as recorded in historical texts?"

“It’s not certain yet.” Xi Huayue paused, looked at the enormous, winding, and mysterious entity floating in space displayed on the screen, and added, “It’s very likely.”

"This is a huge discovery! If it proves that the dragon really exists, won't the fish in those research institutes be ecstatic? You know, they've almost gone crazy trying to prove that the mermaid myth really exists." Lan Qi said with a smile, raising an eyebrow and looking tenderly at Li Qi, and said gently, "Beautiful Miss Crystal, I wonder if I could invite you to admire the mirage together after I receive the research institute's reward?"

Li Qi glared at him and said irritably, "Why don't you go with your little fish? I don't want to get poked in the tail by them later."

"Oh~ it's really not my fault. Who knew they would take it seriously? I just treated them to a meal..." Lan Qi chuckled, touching his nose. He took Li Qi's words as a compliment to his charm.

"Alright, let's talk about that later. Wake up Kasai and Yeling, and after the Pingyao gets closer, we'll switch to a smaller airship to get closer and take a look."

Normally, these two lively mermaids would bicker with each other, but once Captain Xi Huayue gave an order, the two mermaids immediately put away their relaxed expressions, raised their tail fins, clenched their fists and crossed them in front of them, and solemnly replied, "Yes, sir."

After being awakened, the deep-sea mermaid Kasai with black hair and a black tail, and the shallow-water mermaid Yeling with a light blue tail, eyes, and flaxen hair, both became serious upon seeing the dragon floating in space. They went to the co-pilot's control panel, ready to check for any shortcomings and help control the spaceship.

As the five mermaids cautiously approached, the Pingyao slowly drew near the dragon they had discovered.

And this divine dragon... is Long Xun.

Or perhaps, this dragon floating in the universe is actually a fossilized corpse that slowly evolved over time... How this dragon came to be is still unknown.
